Type Soul: Complete Shikai Guide

There’s a lot of different games you can play in Roblox and some of them can be quite complex. Type Soul is one of those games and sometimes it can get a bit confusing for new people on what to do. There are different ways you can play the game and different mechanics you’ll need to learn. One of those mechanics is the Shikai which Soul Reapers use.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to get your Shikai, how they work and what are the Shikai you can get. Now, let’s see the things that you’ll need to do to get these abilities!

Complete Shikai Guide

When you turn into a Soul Reaper in Type Soul you get the chance to get your own Shikai. Of course, to get this you’ll need to do a couple of things first. We can’t just give out these things for those who aren’t worthy!

To get to Shikai you of course need to be a Soul Reaper. Turning into a Soul Reaper isn’t part of this guide. But we do have a guide on how to become a Soul Reaper, so go check that one out!

When you turn into a Soul Reaper it’s highly suggested that you don’t take any skills. That’s because when you fight the Shikai Boss, it will have the skills you have so it’ll be easier if you don’t have any. One thing you’ll want to get though is Flashstep which is a skill you can get for free. It’s a skill that lets you dodge around and move through the map easier.

You’ll also need to get to Grade 2, which you can easily get to when you do the Hollow Overflow Mission. It’ll be faster with friends so go invite another person with you to do it. The mission is fairly simple, all you need to do is defeat all the Friskers that spawn. Repeat the mission until you get to at least Grade 2.

Once you get to that rank, you’ll then be able to get the Senkaimon skill that lets you travel to the Soul Society. From there you’ll want to join a Division and do some Division missions. The XP you’ll get from these missions will depend on how hard they are.

Once you get enough XP you can’t go any further thank Rank 2 until you get your Shikai. To do that you’ll want to press M to meditate, you need to have your sword out. If you can’t that means you either don’t have enough XP from the Division Missions or you’re bugged. If it’s the latter, then just get killed and try again.

When you meditate, you’ll need to sit there for 30 minutes until the game automatically lets you stand again. After that you’ll want to meditate again for another 30 minutes, and finally meditate again for another 30 minutes. On the 3^rd 30-minute meditation you’ll teleport to your Shikai Boss.

When you fight your Shikai Boss it’s best to start a combo with a Critical. Just repeatedly use your Critical since it can stun the boss. Once you defeat the boss it’ll show some text one what your next mission is. This can either be defeating NPCs/Players or purifying souls. Afterwards the other missions will be easy, and you’ll get your Shikai!
