Most games often give you lots of loot and sometimes you don’t need all of them. So, you just throw them away or disassemble them. Then there are some games like Undawn, where they actually give you something in return for throwing away these items, or as the game calls it, recycling. The game gives you recycling currency that you can then use to buy materials!
In this guide, we’ll show how to get recycled materials and how to recycle items. So, bring all of that useless loot you’ve been hoarding because it’s time to recycle!
How To Get Recycled Materials Guide
Materials in Undawn can get pretty annoying or tough to get later on when the game stops giving you free stuff. So, if you want to get more materials, here’s a great way to do so, through recycling unwanted items!
Here are the steps we’ll be taking to get Recycled Materials in the game:
- Progress through the story until you get the Deconstruction Bench.
- Place the Deconstruction Bench Down.
- Interact with the Deconstruction Bench and deconstruct unwanted materials.
- Get Recycled Materials from deconstruction!
- Buy items with the Recycled Materials from the Market!

Detailed Walkthrough
To start getting recycled materials we’ll first need to know how to recycle those materials. If you go through your Adventure Guidebook, which is basically the game’s main story line, you’ll get a Deconstruction Bench at one point.
Plop down the Deconstruction Bench on your base and interact with it. This will send you to the deconstruction screen where you can then deconstruct materials. If you deconstruct materials, you’ll get Recycled Materials depending on the amount and rarity of the materials you deconstructed.
Now that you have Recycled Materials, you’ll want to use them. They’re actually a form of currency that you can use in the game’s Recycle Shop. This can be accessed through the Market screen from the main menu.
In the recycle shop you can use the Recycled Materials to buy other materials as well as some interesting items. Some notable ones are repair parts you can use to repair gear and fuel to refuel your vehicles.
