There are so many new mobs that you can find in the amazing new update for Valheim Mistlands. In this guide, we shall be going over all of them and while we are at it, we shall explain to you how to deal with all of them in a fight. Let’s get started.
Mobs Guide – All New Mobs & How To Fight Each One – Valheim Mistlands
There are a total of 10 new and big enemies that you will be facing in the new update that has hit Valheim. Here are all of them:
Seeker
The first enemy that is the most common in the new update is the Seeker. This is a spider-like creature that will attack you with its melee attacks. They have an attack pattern of 3 attacks each side by side next to the other. You shall need to time them and dodge them in time.
The best weapon of choice against them is the Himmin Afl. This is a new staff that will completely parry all of the attacks coming from the Seeker. It also does a ton of electric damage, something that the Seeker is weak against.
Seeker Soldier
This is the bigger version of the Seeker. Basically, it has more or less the same attack patterns but with a much slower speed. The thing is, do not let it hit you because it will deal a ton of damage to you. Also, his attacks do a big amount of knockback so do not fight it on any ledges.
The best weapon of choice for this monster is a Spear and a Shield. The recommended choice is the new Carapace spear and the Carapace Buckler. You will just parry his attacks and then strike with the spear.
Seeker Brood
This smaller Seeker is called the Seeker Brood. They are found in dungeons and are very easy. Just use a hammer or the Demolisher and they are gone in one hit.
Gjall & Ticks
It lands eggs that will hatch into ticks. They spawn 3 at a time and it will breathe fire on your head. It is absolutely brutal and scary.
For the Ticks you can take a sledgehammer and just do a big AoE hit in front of you. They will get all damaged. Just 1 or 2 smashes are enough to kill all of them.
For the Gjall, be sure to have plenty of fire resistance items and potions as well as the Fenris Armor. A good item to take it down is a Bow, but another very good item is the Staff of Frost. Both of these are amazing for taking down the Gjall from a distance.
Hare
Anything works for these animals. The bow is the easiest since it can run away easily. It is a peaceful rabbit type of creature just roaming in the world.
Chickens
These mobs can be utilized and turned into a farm to give you tons of food and feathers for arrows. They can be killed with any type of weapon with just one strike.
Munin
This is just a creature from Norse Mythology or a bird that you can find throughout the world and talk to.
Dvergrs
If you do find structures like those shown in the picture above, you can be sure that they will be Inhabitat by the Dregr dwarves. They are mobs that you can get into fights with, but they are also NPCs, meaning that you can interact with them too.
These are the 2 types:
- Rouge
- Mage
What you want out of these structures is the loot that you can find on the very top of their roofs. These mobs don’t wanna kill you unless you do something to them. If you attack the crates and the loot, they will attack you.
Make sure that you drink fire and frost resistance potions because the mages will do that damage to you. A good weapon to use is something that can knock them at a distance. Maybe a hammer or a sledgehammer. This way they won’t be together and you can kill them one by one.
The Queen
This big boss will find you in the new dungeons that are added to the game. Be very careful when deciding to deal with one. It comes randomly while you are traveling throughout these dungeons.
To be best dealing with her, you will need to use blunt weapons. So anything like the hammer will do a fantastic job. The thing is, you shall need to time your attacks perfectly so that you can block her attacks this way too.
That’s all the new mobs in Valheim Mistlands and how you can deal with them. We hope that this guide has been useful and helped you a bunch. A big thank you to Chisechip who explained all of these things in detail.
