While you may be excited to see the story of God of War Ragnarok, you should think about exploring areas as well. I get the feeling of wanting to see what happens next in this epic tale of Kratos’ adventure, but there are some pretty cool loot you can get if you look around enough. For example, a Legendary Chest in Vanir Shrine has some incredible loot that will make the journey to the location worth it. If you want to see for yourself, then follow this guide.
God of War Ragnarok – Vanir Shrine Legendary Chest
Go to the Vanir Shrine
The Vanir Shrine can be found next to the Goddess Falls. It’s at the southern part of the map.
Find the Legendary Chest
When you get to the entrance of the Vanir Shrine, go right.
Follow the path until you see this piece of the local wildlife. They can be burned if you use your Blades of Chaos.
With the plants now burned down, you can see that there is something breakable on the other side. This is holding the gate open that blocks you from getting the Legendary Chest. Throw your axe and go back to where you came from.
Look to your left when you turn around the corner and you should see the previously locked gate now gone, letting you get the Legendary Chest.
