The release of Warhammer 40k Darktide is coming soon and with the the developers have made it so you can get Vermintide 2 for free for a limited time. They were also nice enough to make almost all of the DLCs for sale giving the game a new wave of new players. There’s a lot of different classes you can choose in Vermintide and a lot of builds you can experiment on. There is one class though that is always counted on as the meta class and that’s the Warrior Priest, and in this guide we’ll show you a great guide for this career.
Warrior Priest Of Sigmar Guide | Warhammer Vermintide 2
The Warrior Priest is a career that you get in Vermintide 2 with Victor Saltzpyre and is basically the best class in the game for most players. You’ll often see the Warrior Priest or Grail Knight be in your team in quick play.
They have amazing wave clearing capabilities as well as great special killing as well, making it a class that can do everything well. Here is a great build for the Warrior Priest in the game.
Weapons
For the weapon the main melee weapon you’ll use is the Flail & Shield. It has one of the better wave clear with light attacks and even better if you chain heavy attacks due to the slightly bigger arc.
For the properties you’d want more Attack Speed and Block Cost reduction as well as Swift Slaying for that extra attack speed.
For the secondary you’d want the Greathammer. This will be your main weapon at killing elites. The properties should be Power vs Chaos and Block Cost reduction, the former since Chaos enemies are usually the tougher enemies to fight against in the game.
For the trait you’d go for Opportunist since attack speed from Swift Slaying doesn’t really matter much if you’re only using this to kill elites.
Talents
There’s a lot of ways to setting up the talent for the Warrior priest, this is one of them. Rising Judgement at level 10 is great for those that like mixing up light and heavy attacks but you can also use Unstoppable Force if you like push attacks more.
The rest of the talents are self explanatory while at level 30 like almost all classes, every level 30 talent is viable. United in Prayer is by far the best because it makes it so Shield of Faith is always effecting two members of the team, you and another member.
