Verse Piece is back with a new update introducing quest systems, and at the center of it all? Uryu Ishida. Whether you’re a Bleach fan or just grinding Verse Piece for the best builds, this update might be the shot of adrenaline the game needed. Between the new Wandenreich missions and Uryu’s flashy skill set, there’s a lot to explore, and even more damage to dish out. In this guide, I’ll walk you through exactly how to get Uryu, what makes him worth farming, how his abilities stack up, and whether or not he lives up to the hype. Spoiler: He kinda does.
Uryu Ishida Guide & Showcase
Uryu has finally made his way into Verse Piece, and let me tell you, it’s about time. Not only is he a brand-new prestige weapon, but he also comes with his own unique mission chain, boss, and a slick moveset that puts out serious damage. He’s not just a cosmetic drop, this guy actually performs.
But fair warning: getting him takes effort, patience, and a bit of RNG luck. If you’re up for the grind though, you’re in for a great addition to your arsenal.

What’s New in the Update
Before we dive into Uryu himself, here’s a quick breakdown of what this update brings:
- Wandenreich Missions
- Uryu Boss Fight
- New Weapon: Uryu
- Prestige System Upgrade
- Huge Reputation Gains via Missions
Honestly, if Verse Piece keeps dropping updates like this, it might just revive itself, this was a strong step forward.
How to Unlock Uryu Ishida
Step 1: Head to Snow Island
You’ll find the new mission NPC here. But before you can even talk to them, make sure you’ve hit 10,000 Reputation. If you’re not there yet, start grinding early, trust me, it’s worth it.
Step 2: Accept Wandenreich Missions
Once you’re eligible, you’ll get access to 4 types of Wandenreich missions:
- Defeat a number of Quincies
- Destroy the Core Reiatsu
- Collect a set number of Reiatsu
- Defeat the Uryu Boss
Step 3: Defeat the Uryu Boss
This is where the grind kicks in. After accepting the Wandenreich quest, and you’ll get spawned in Wandenreich. Just ahead, from the center of the island, you’ll see a skull icon, which is the Uryu Boss.
Defeating Uryu gives you a 1% chance to drop Uryu’s Reiatsu, the item you need to unlock him. It’s RNG-heavy, so get ready to farm. Just finish the other mission objectives and keep rerunning Wandenreich mission until you get the drop.

Step 4: Equip the Uryu’s Reiatsu
Once you finally get Uryu’s Reiatsu, use it to unlock the Uryu.
Best Way to Farm Reputation
If you’re still working on hitting more Rep, here’s a quick tip: Equip the Ego Title, and just spam the missions. They give insane amounts of reputation, and it’s currently the fastest way to level up your rep bar. You’ll be knocking out the requirements in no time, just prepare to fight through waves of Quincies along the way.

Uryu Ishida Moveset & Showcase
Once you unlock him, Uryu comes with a flashy, clean kit. Here’s what you’re working with:
Skill Showcase
- Basic Attack – Quick and efficient
- T Move – Burst AoE damage
- X Move – Heavy-hitting, great for bosses
- C Move – Ultimate-style nuke
- Final Move – Wild damage numbers
Base Damage (No Buff Accessories)
Using Vizard Mask ability:
- Basic Attack – 90.8 million
- T Move – 407.2 million
- X Move – 469.8 million
- C Move – 1.6 billion
- Final Move – 783.1 million
And that’s without sword damage accessories. Yeah… he’s cracked.
Enchant & Accessory Testing
To push his damage even further, I tested two builds:
- With Han Sukuna Accessory:
- Boosts raw damage output
- Reliable crits and solid scaling
- Synergizes well with his skill damage
- With Amia Accessory:
- More refined scaling, better for drawn-out fights
- Performs surprisingly well during raids
Both are solid options, but depending on your playstyle, Amia might edge out slightly in sustained DPS.
Wrap-Up: Is Uryu Worth It?
Absolutely. Between the fun moveset, high damage ceiling, and mission rewards, Uryu is definitely worth farming, even with the 1% drop rate. Plus, this update finally gave some love to the mission system, which makes grinding feel a lot less stale. If you’re returning to Verse Piece or just looking for your next big upgrade, Uryu is a great goal to aim for.
