Aside from mammals, you can also hunt birds and other flying creatures in Horizon Forbidden West. Vultures can be a good source of Wild Meat, which can be important when crafting items. This guide will show you where you can find vultures in Horizon Forbidden West.
Vulture Location – Horizon Forbidden West
You can find Vultures in the sandy desert parts of the map in Horizon Forbidden West. One of the places you can look for vultures is in the desert southwest of Shadow’s Reach. You can find vultures either resting on the sand or flying.
Hunting vultures are much easier if they are currently resting on the ground. If you see one on the ground, do not hesitate to take a shot.
When alerted, they will fly away but you can still hunt them down while they are in the air. However, it can require some archery skills if you are planning to do so.
NOTE: You can also use your Focus Mode to find some vultures in the area.
If you successfully hunt a vulture while in the air, you can pick up their loot on the ground. Hunting a Vulture will give you Wild Meat, Rich Meat, and Vulture Feathers.
