Warhammer 40k Boltgun is a love letter to those who grew up on old school DOOM and Wolfenstein. This game takes the 32 bit aesthetic of the old shooter games and slaps a Warhammer 40k skin on it. It’s fast, gory, and full of action. Which is why I don’t blame you if you forget that there are secrets in this game. Yes, each chapter and each mission all contain secrets that you can find. In this guide, I will be showing you where you can find the secrets in Chapter 1, Mission 4: Silent Martyrs.
Secret 1: Machine Spirit
The first secret can be found below the bridge. When you make it to the end of the bridge where you enter a room and get the key (make sure to get that, by the way), look to your right or left and jump off the bridge.
When you land on the ground, immediately turn around, and you will see an entrance.
Inside the room, you can find your first secret, a Machine Spirit, as well as some other goodies in the room that you can pick up.
Secret 2: Munitions Boon
The next secret can be found not far from the first secret. After getting the Machine Spirit, look to your right and you will see a doorway. Keep going straight until you find an open container. Inside the open container is the second secret, a Munitions Boon.
Secret 3: Vortex Grenade
Right after getting the Munitions Boon, turn around and head straight until you exit through this doorway.
When you exit the doorway, go left and continue straight forward until you reach a fallen pillar. Turn right and you will see that behind the fallen pillar, there is a large gate. Normally, it will be locked, but if you picked up the key earlier, you can use it on the console next to it to open it. Once it opens, go through it.
Once you’re through the gate, you will have to go through hallways full of enemies. Make sure to come prepared, as the hallways can reduce movement and it lacks cover.
Eventually, you will enter a large room full of enemies as well. In the middle of that room is a cage with a key in it. Grab the key, as it will be important in a bit.
After getting the key, exit the cage and look to your right. You should see a doorway with a purple light on the side, the same color of the key that you just picked up. Go through it until you reach a room with a console on the side for the purple key.
Use the key on the console and the door will open. Go through the door and you will find yourself back in the courtyard. Go straight across the courtyard and you will find an open door with the Vortex Grenade secret inside.
Secret 4: Dragonfire Boltgun Magazine
Go back to the courtyard and head to the area where you found the first secret. When you get there, look for a large doorway with two purple lamps on either side. There will be another console on the side so you use the key to open it to go through.
Go through the hallways and corridors until you reach another courtyard where there is a hole in the middle. From where you are standing when you first enter the courtyard, there should be a doorway that’s open on your left. Go through that door.

Go down the steps in front of you and you should find an open hallway that has a yellow key at the end. Go inside and pick the key up.
Exit the hallway and go to the other end of the courtyard. Go up the stairs and in this container, you can find the Dragonfire Boltgun Magazine.
Secret 5: Aura of Doom
Once you get the last secret, go back down the stairs until you reach the very bottom of the room. There will be a locked door and a console for the yellow key right next to it. Use the key and go through the door.
Go through the hallways and corridors until you reach another large room. In the middle platform, you will find the Aura of Doom.
Secret 6: Kraken Boltgun Magazine
After getting the Aura of Doom, head to this corner of the room. There will be a set of stairs that leads you down.
Go down the stairs and you will find the last secret, which is the Kraken Boltgun Magazine.
