There’s nothing like ripping and tearing through heretics and demons in Warhammer 40k: Boltgun. A callback to the classic boomer shooters of the day, this game is just fast paced and involves a lot of shooting, just the way I like it! While going through the levels you might miss some secrets though, and these secrets can really help you out!
In this guide, we’ll show you all the secrets in Mission 5 of Chapter 2 of the game. Now ready your favorite weapon because there’s some purging to be done!
All Secrets Chapter 2 Mission 5
Sometimes these secrets are easy to find, while other secrets are well hidden. If you’ve missed the secrets from the missions before, go check out our guide on all the secrets for Mission 4! Now let’s find where these secrets are.
Secret #1 – Machine Spirit
From the start of the game go forward and then take the first right.
This will lead you to another crossroad, to the right is the red key, we’ll want to go to the left.
The moment you head left there’s a high chance you’ll already see the secret. You can jump and climb to that place and get the secret: a blessing of the Machine Spirit! Make sure to equip the right gun you want to upgrade with it!
Secret #2 – Aura of Doom
For the next secret we’ll go back to the start, and this time head to the left.
This will lead to another crossroad where you take the left turn.
From there you’ll go to this area filled with enemies. At the very back again is another secret, just jump and climb the ledge. This time it’s an Aura of Doom, great for taking care of the enemies around.
Secret #3 – Kraken Boltgun Magazine
From the previous secret drop down and go to the left following the path there.
You’ll get to a bunch of crates with ammunition and healing. There’s also a not-so-hidden secret there, a Kraken Boltgun Magazine!
Secret #4 – Vortex Grenade
Continue through the level until you open the red door. Once you open the red door head to the right.
There you’ll find a ramp that goes up. Go up the ramp and then head left, keeping an eye on the right.
You’ll see the wall pictured below, it’s a secret wall that you can actually open. Walk up to it and interact with it.
This will open the door and show the secret inside: a Vortex Grenade!
Secret #5 – Dragonfire Boltgun Magazine
Now continue through the level until you reach the area with the blue doors. From the entrance to the area go right.
You’ll find a bridge that leads to a blue door. Below and to the right is a doorway that you can go into pictured below.
You’ll get to a long hallway and on the other side is the next secret: a Dragonfire Boltgun Magazine!
Secret #6 – Munitions Boon
Now going back to the entrance of the area, this time you’ll want to go left.
You’ll go to a bridge that leads to a door, below is another doorway that you can jump down to.
There you’ll find another secret: a Munition Boon!
Secret #7 – Assault Doctrine
Continue through the level until you reach the area where you do some purging and fight the Lord of Change. From the entrance go to the left and follow that path.
You’ll see a ramp that goes up, take that ramp and go up, you can use the image below as a reference.
Once you’re up use the bridges that go to the center to follow the path shown below.
Once you get to the other side you’ll see a doorway to the left with some rocks around it. Go inside that doorway.
There you’ll find the last secret of the level: an Assault Doctrine!
