It’s a great day to do some purging and killing demons or heretics! In Warhammer 40k: Boltgun you go through rooms filled with demons, heretics and explosive barrels just like any other boomer shooter. You do that as a space marine that can run really fast despite having 20 trucks worth of metal on him. Still, you might miss some secrets here and there that can help you in defeating enemies!
In this guide, we’ll show you all of the secrets in Mission 1 of Chapter in Warhammer 40k Boltgun! Now get your bolter ready because that’s your only weapon at the start of every chapter!
All Secrets Chapter 3 Mission 1
It’s great to find these secrets when going around the many missions in the game, but you might miss some of them. If you haven’t found all of the secrets in the previous mission, then go check out our guide on all the secrets in Chapter 2 Mission 8. Now let’s see where these secrets are!
Secret #1 – Kraken Boltgun Magazine
The first secret is just at the start of the level. When you go forward and see the massive pillar of falling lava look to the right. There you’ll see a container blocking your way, go over it.
Inside that container is the first secret of the level, a Kraken Boltgun Magainze!
Secret #2 – Machine Spirit
Continue going up the level since this is a really vertical mission. Once you reach the ramp that goes to the next area, go instead to its side. Then jump to the metal platforms shown on the image below.
Look directly the opposite of where the lava pillar is, and you’ll see a door open that has the next secret. The secret is a blessing of the Machine Spirit! Remember to equip the weapon you want upgraded before getting it!
Secret #3 – Vortex Grenade
Continue on through the mission until you reach the area that has some purging to be done. Once you’re done purging, you’ll need to do some platforming to get to the top of the area. Once you get there you should see the pool of lava shown below. Go to the edge of the pool.
From there you can look down and you can see some platforms at the side marked with yellow paint. In the middle suspended in the air by some chains is a container. You’ll need to go inside it.
Inside the container is the next secret, a Vortex Grenade!
Secret #4 – Vengeance Boltgun Magazine
Continue on through the level until you reach the area that you have to jump onto some container to get to a hole on the ceiling. One of the containers is opened and at the back of it is a secret wall. Walk up to it and interact with it to open it.
Behind the secret wall is the next secret which is a Vengeance Boltgun magazine!
Secret #5 – Contempt
Go through the level as normal until you reach another area that you’ll need to jump onto a container to continue again. I told you this level is quite vertical! Instead of going to the top though go check inside the container.
Inside the container is the next secret which is Contempt! This is special since even if you have the max of 200 Contempt it’ll overcharge it up to 300!
Secret #6 – Munitions Boon
Continue going through the mission until you reach the very vertical area that you’ll need to purge. From the entrance go to the left.
There you’ll find another container that has another secret, a Munitions Boon!
Secret #7 – Aura of Doom
The last secret is to the second level of the same area where you find the previous secret. Instead of continue going up the ramps go instead to the platform shown below. It goes through an open container.
Once you’re through the container turn left and left again.
There you’ll find a ramp that leads to the last secret of the mission, an Aura of Doom!
