How to Play Arch & Raven Guide For Warhaven

The Arch class, for those who haven’t caught on yet, is the Archer class in the game. It follows the strange naming conventions the game does, probably to make the classes sound more unique. This is a mainly ranged type of character and you’ll need to keep distance to be effective. You can easily get rushed down as you only have one basic melee attack and limited blocking abilities.

Here are the abilities that you’ll get when playing the Arch:

  • Slice: Your only melee attack. Not really a great one either but can do in a pinch if you’re being attacked by one enemy with low health.
  • Precision Arrow: An attack that deals a lot of damage and can even pierce and hit up to 3 enemies.
  • Hazebloom Arrow: A guard break ability that you can shoot at enemies to help your teamates get through an enemy’s defenses.
  • Goya’s Grace: You have reduced fall damage. This means you can drop down from heights without worrying too much about the damage.

When playing Arch remember to keep your distance with the enemy. When shooting at enemies that are further away it’s suggested that you fully draw your bow since not doing so might not even deal damage because of falloff.

Raven

The Raven is the immortal that you can switch too and the playstyle is still the same. Keep a distance between your enemies and remember to charge up your attack for massive damage. The raven also has a skill that lets them become ethereal for a short time. Perfect for getting away from risky situations.

Congratulations you now know the basics of playing the Arch class in Warhaven. Now go out there and try the class yourself! Many thanks to BloodThirstyLord for tips on how to play this class.
