Call of Duty is one of those big-name games that everyone and their mothers know about. It’s the most famous arcade FPS game out there and the series keeps on growing.
Even with its Warzone 2 game, there are new updates and content to see and one of the upcoming updates is going to be a big one! Call of Duty Warzone 2 will have a new map to play in, a new boss to fight and try to defeat, and even changes to the old maps!
Let’s dive in and see what new content we’re going to get in Season 2 of Warzone 2!
All Season 2 Content for DMZ – Warzone 2
One of the new additions we’ll be seeing in Season 2 is going to be a mix of the old and the new.
The Al-Mazrah map is getting updated with an old sight. For those who have played the old Call of Duty games, to be specific the original Modern War 2 game from 2009, you may know that the area of Al-Mazrah called the “Sattiq Cave Complex” is actually the Afgan map from the older game.
The difference is there’s no big crashed plane in the middle, well for the new season there will be!
Along with the new camp change comes an entirely whole new map.
That’s right, Season 2 will open up with a new map called Ashika Island, and along with it is a new boss called “The Bomb Maker.”
We’ve already seen what parts of the new map look like and it’s going for feudal Japan look.
Along with the new stuff is also changes to the old mechanics of the game.
Overall AI will be a bit easier for solo players as well as missions. Along with the mission changes, it’ll be easier for players to unlock their second Insured Slot.
There will also be a wipe for the new Season which means all contraband and keys will be reset, but if you’ve unlocked Insured Slots they won’t be reset.
Those who don’t have the second Insured slot yet will find it a bit easier to unlock it in the second season. The 3rd slot will still be a challenge though!
There’s also going to be a new faction called “Crown.” The catch with this faction though is that this is only for players that already own Modern Warfare 2. Those who don’t have it and are playing the free version will not have this new faction in the next season.
Congratulations you now know what to expect in the next Season of Warzone 2, there will probably be more information that will appear as the new season gets closer and closer so keep an eye on the news.
