There are precisely 11 Ancient Obelisks in the entire game, and one of them is found in the Ossu-Gol Necropolis.
Essentially, they are the shrines that must be activated, and doing so spawns a bunch of foes along with the boss, the most powerful of them. However, if you manage to defeat them, you’ll get incredible rewards, and if you’re fortunate enough, you may get a legendary weapon too!

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Where To Get The Ancient Obelisk In Ossu-Gol Necropolis
Finding the Ancient Obelisk is the most painless part. Go to this location seen on the map below.
Then, activate the Ancient Obelisk.
Doing so will attract many Sandeaters, Whelps, Thundereaters, and they will attack you from all sides.
But that’s not all; once you defeat them, you’ll have to deal with the Mandiblon, Chomper of Skulls.
This boss may be sluggish, but believe us, he can deal immense damage. So whatever you do, just stay away and shoot him from a distance. Other than standard attack, he can deal ranged damage by blowing green gas from his mouth.
Once you defeat him, you’ll unlock the challenge and receive some fantastic rewards!
