In a lot of caves and dungeons, you are going to see some ponds or lakes. To be able to get through them you shall need to use a rebreather that lets you breathe under the water at least for a very short amount of time.

In this guide, we will show you how to find the rebreather on the map as well as pick it up yourself. Let’s get started and point you in the right direction.

Sons Of The Forest – How To Find The Rebreather

Map Location

This is where you’re able to find the cave where the Rebreather will be placed inside. It is pretty much next to the water and by the helicopter that you originally land on when playing the game.

When you get here you will find some wooden boards that are blocking the entrance to a cave.

Simply use your axe to take down these boards and you can enter the cave. Now begins the adventure of actually finding the Rebreather.

Inside The Cave

This is a very simple cave to maneuver in. Simply follow the main road that will be given to you and you can see a couple of lights along the way, like the one shown in the picture above.

You just need to follow this road and lights until you get to the very end of the cave.

After following the lights you will come to a very big and open room with a lot of stone spikes. Use your flashlight to find a very small opening inside and get through this little gap. You do need to be crouched to get through it, however.

Once you get to the other side of this small gap and hole in the wall, you shall find another light source so just follow it. Next to this light source is where you can see the Rebreather. Congratulations!

We hope that this guide has helped you how to find the rebreather that you can use for breathing under the water. Have fun getting it yourself!
