Water is a crucial resource in Farming Simulator 25, whether you’re keeping your cattle hydrated or running greenhouse facilities to grow crops like vegetables. Greenhouses, in particular, are an excellent source of early-game income, as they only require water to operate and yield valuable products. In this guide, I’ll cover two primary ways to get water for your farm: one that costs money (but is more accessible) and one that’s completely free!
Where To Get Water (Free Method)
You’ll need water to feed your cattle or keep them hydrated. Water is also required to run greenhouse facilities, which are an efficient way to grow products like vegetables. Greenhouses need only water to yield crops, making them a great source of early-game income.
First, you’ll need to purchase a water tank and a tractor. By this time, it’s most likely that you will already have a tractor early in the game. Then, choose the right size tank for your tractor and buy it.
Once you have everything read, you can proceed to the two methods I’ll be sharing you for to get water in the game. In Farming Simulator 25, there are two main ways to get water:
Paid Method (Water Silo):
- Head to the Animal section in the buy menu and look for Barrels. You can purchase a water tank, like the basic Abi Attachment 550 (5850 cost), which is the most affordable option. But there are more expensive ones with more capacity.
- Once you have the tank, head to a water silo. These are available on most maps, including both the European and Asian maps.
- Simply drive up to the silo and fill your tank. Be aware that it costs money every time you fill up, so keep an eye on your funds.
Free Method (Body of Water):
- If you want to avoid spending money, look for any body of water, such as a river, canal, or lake.
- Drive the water tank near the water until the refill option appears in the top left corner of your screen.
- When you see the option, press the corresponding button (R on PC) to start filling up. Make sure not to fall into the water while positioning your tank!
And that’s it! Now you know exactly how to get water for your farm in Farming Simulator 25. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
