Hogwarts Legacy is a game that is being created by Avalanche Software and is going to be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Although it isn’t yet released and we only have very little information about it, we are certainly very much excited about its arrival.
In this article we will be discussing Hogwarts Legacy and why it might just be one of the biggest things in the Gaming community and possibly the game of the year content for the upcoming 2023. Let’s get started.
Why Hogwarts Legacy May Be One of the Biggest Games of 2023
As we come to finish of 2022 with all the Video Game Awards that are being presented and given to certain titles, we can say that this year was not a bad year for gaming. But even right now we cannot help but be excited about 2023 especially because Hoghwards Legacy is coming out in it.

The release date of Hogwarts Legacy is supposed to be on the 10th of February 2023. This is a game that is created by Avalanche Software which has a background of making games since 1996 with Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Following that game, it has nearly 20 years of experience in the production of smaller games like Tak the Power of Juju, working on Prince of Persia, as well as some smaller Disney games.

On top of all that, Hogwarts Legacy is an original story! It won’t be a washed-off movie-to-game kind of deal that we all know is a terrible idea and has never worked well in the past. You won’t need to be bound to the events of any upcoming movies or TV series.

Instead, you will be just placed as a 5th–year student of the Wizard school. Something that we can strongly agree that all fans of Harry Potter have always dreamt about. You will embark on a large journey to get the feeling of a student in Hogwarts, but plus in the mysteries behind an ancient magic power.
You will be open to exploring every nook and cranny of the wondrous world of Hogwarts and its world. It is a great setup for an open-world game like this and even talking about it is making us excited. Just hopefully it will be utilized to some great effect and scape.
The gameplay is everything that we had really expected and much more, from the gameplay videos we have seen so far. You will have the freedom to customize your player according to your liking. Also, choosing the Hogwarts School will be entirely up to you before starting with the narrative. Yes, you guessed it – Hogwarts Legacy will lean more toward RPG elements!
Naturally, progression will be one of the most important parts of Hogwarts Legacy and you’ll have a very big option of customization, like getting new spells, crafting gear, wands, tools, and plus the academic progression that you can rank up through. We can hope that going with a certain type of school you might unlock maybe even some forbidden spells!
What we have seen so far too, is that you can be able to actually choose the spells and your routes to how you interact and complete a mission or part of the story. A choice of going heavy or invisible, or even not attending an event is an option.
The Visuals are looking stunning and the virtual spaces and environment that we can see seem that Avalanche Software are bringing their A game and we will have many compelling areas to explore. Not just quests and activities, but places that are simply breathtaking and worth a visit are something that we hope we see.
We have seen mounts that can be used to fly around Hogwarts and explore its many areas. But for an open-world game to succeed it has to function as well. From what we can see so far it seems that this worry is already covered with many details by the artists working on this game.

The room for DLC is also outstanding and we can see many things coming over from the Harry Potter series like battling the dark arts and etc.
If everything mentioned here, and the things that we have seen so far, can actually be how they are shown to us, we will definitely have the most memorable experience and game–of–the–year material.
