A lot of people nowadays including me have been spoiled by quest markers, every game that has quests have them. Some people hate it because of how it removes to wonder of exploration in the game, while some people love them because it removes the tedium of finding an NPC in a haystack. I myself played Morrowind for too many hours so I don’t really mind not having any quest markers but I can understand when people get lost. In Wo Long Fallen Dynasty there’s a side quest that spans a lot of levels and with no quest markers, in this guide we’ll show you how to do it.
Missing Husband Side Quest Guide | Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
The Missing Husband Side Quest starts at the Hidden Village, there you’ll need to talk to the Hermit of Tianzhu and talk about her missing husband. This will be the start of a long side quest that spans multiple areas and parts.
The first part of the side quest is in the Uninhabited Heart part of the game. Once you reach the second battle flag you can go to the place shown below where you’ll find the Hermit again, she’ll ask for some coppers and you’ll need to give her some to progress.
The next part is in the “Let’s Make Our Armor Shine” part of the game, when you reach the Second Battle Flag you’ll need to go up the ship using the ladder nearby shown below.
From there you’ll find another path to a small ship that’s connected to a bigger ship. Go inside the bigger ship and you’ll find the Hermit again. Talk to her a couple of times until she asks for copper again, and give her some.
The next area is in the “Let’s Make our Halberds Shine” part of the game, again after the second battle flag. Nearby the flag is a small house and you can go behind it to go up the roof, from there you can spot the Hermit, drop down and talk to her. Same thing as before, talk to her until she asks for more copper and give her some.
You’ll then need to head back to the Hidden Village after finding the two Taoists Keys. In our guide on where to find the two Taoists keys we go into detail on how to get these items, feel free to use the guide if you don’t have them.
Once you’ve found them you can then go to the area shown below where her husband is. This area can only be accessed if you open both doors to the lady’s house that needs the Taoists keys. Talk to him till he goes back home.
Anyway, after talking to him he’ll go back to his wife, now you’ll just need to talk to the Hermit again to finish the side quest!
