Dragonflight will have so many new things for you to try out. Also, it is getting a lot of newcomers that simply do not know where or how to start with a type of class or race. Well in this guide we will be giving you a helping hand on how to choose your Main Character. Let’s get started.

How To Choose Your MAIN CHARACTER For Dragonflight – WoW

Role

First things first, you will have to ask this question yourself as it is the most important thing in the long run. – What Role do you want to play as?

Sit down, think about it, and then come up with a conclusion. Depending on what you will want to play as you will be able to then and only then choose your Main Character for Dragonflight.

You will want to be any of the roles as maybe a tank, DPS dealer, spellcaster, silent rogue assassin, a warrior with two-handed axes, and such. Whatever role you choose to play will make you experience a whole different game, so choosing your role is the most important thing.

Tank Role

The tank is the bulwark and the lead damage taker from every group. It is a very good role to play if you plan to be the high HP and buffedup resistance wall that will constantly need to be healed and just spam the same skills over and over again.

It is not that strong for leveling up but also not as bad too. Definitely, one of the most important roles in the game because without a tank, no dungeon will be possible.

Healer Role

Most players just want to be in the back and be the support of the entire group and squad. Well, the best support are the healers. Although you might stick at the back of the group, that doesn’t make you any less useful or crucial.

Healers are without a doubt the most important role in the game. No dungeon will ever be happening without a healer to heal them up. It is also one of the hardest characters to play and level up.

There aren’t all that many very good healers in no matter what server you might play as, so if you want to be finding Dungeon finder dungeons nonstop and make sure that the squads don’t die, you will want to choose a healer character.

DPS Role

The most played role and type of character that is played in WoW. You are basically dealing damage to enemies and to a lot of the bosses you will be the key that will take them down faster and easier.

These types of characters are of course very fun to play as, especially if you plan on fighting for your faction and bringing pain and agony to your enemies. Very fun for leveling up and extremely good when doing arenas or battlegrounds.

If you decide to play as a DPS character you will have so many options to do so. Almost all types of classes that you will choose will have a DPS type of talent trees and skills, so it just works and is very fun to play as one.

Feel & Theme

Every class and race has its own unique feel and a theme behind them. If you decide to go for the tank role, for example, you will be the strong character that focuses on a lot of big armor and scary shields.

If you do decide to go for a hunter, you’ll be that range character that will function extremely well when placed alone in a series of PvE battles.

Overall, just go with the theme that you want to play as. The overall feel of your gameplay element is what you’ll want to choose, not go for what the current meta is or will be in the future. There is no best class in WoW. It is always changing so just go with your gut and one day it will be the meta.

That’s all that you’ll need to know about choosing your Main Character in the new Dragonflight expansion. We hope that this guide has helped you out with how to pick it. A big thank you to SignsOfKelani from YouTube for these details. Check him out here for more info.
