When we see a treasure chest in a video game we know what to do. We drop everything we’re doing and we try to get the loot inside that chest. It doesn’t matter if it’s 2 copper pieces, a rare weapon, or even a mimic ready to devour us, we go to that chest and open it, and plunder it!
In World of Warcraft, there are a lot of chests around the world, even more with the new expansion, and in this guide, we’ll show you how to open one of the chests in the Zskera Vault that’s a bit chilly to get!
WoW: Dragonflight – How to Open Frost Room Chest Zskera Vault
So to get started you’ll need to use the bubble stream to get to the second-floor area, there on one of the doors you’ll find a potion on the ground called “Flask of Windward Steps.”
Interact with it and you’ll then have the ability to use Windward Steps, which you can use to jump from platform to platform to get to the other doors in the vault.
Now go to the 3rd ‘floor’ where you can find the Frost Room.
In another room on the same level, you can find an empty vial. It’s in the room with two cauldrons: one with green liquid and the other with blue. Interact with the vial and you’ll get an Empty Obsidian Vial.
With the Vial, go to the room on the same level that has a turret that shoots fireballs around the room. Carefully dodge the fireballs and interact with the pot of fire inside the room.
If done correctly you should get an item called “Vial of Flames.” We’ll need that for the frost room!
Now go back to the Frost Room, use the Vial of Flames, and throw it on the ground where there’s frost.
This should thaw the room and now you can go inside and open the chest without any problem!
