Getting inside the Zskera Vault is easy, you just have to talk to the pathfinder to gain access. Opening all doors knowing in full that there might be something completely useless inside, however, is a completely different story since getting the keys for those doors can be relentlessly tedious.
Regardless, this is pretty much a common thing to do in World of Warcraft, so it’s better to have the keys beforehand before you start shaking your fist violently while waiting for a locked door to open. WoW: Dragonflight – Key Hunting Guide
Farming for keys is going to be the next thing you’ll be occupied with doing after you take on more quests in The Reach.
Since the game really wants you to explore the new area then it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise for you to be going back and forth between a few places to get what you need.

You can find at least Three Forbidden Hoards at the Caldera of Menders.
The chests will contain a Zskera Vault Key, 500 Elemental Overflow, and occasionally a Primalist Loot Token or some Untapped Forbidden Knowledge.
Here are some other locations within the area that you should check out:
- X: 36.09/ Y: 33.99
- X: 44.16/ Y: 33.86
Up next is The Frosted Spine just south of Froststone Vault, head over to a small cave that’s next to a steep climb. The cave at X: 45.64 / Y: 73.91 will be guarded by one Frostcoat Bear.
You can also find another one over at X: 53.02 / Y:78.34, this one, however, is being guarded by a Territorial Proto-Drake.
Another chest can be found at X: 41.12 / Y: 69.04 inside of The War Creche, just run past everything that has an expanding torso and make your way to the upper level via the Spellsworn Gateway.
The next location is X: 56.73 / Y: 55.38 over at The Old Weyrn Grounds.
You’ll have to increase altitude as the next chest is up in a cave at X: 62.80 / Y: 48.87. The Tarasek Plunderers inside shouldn’t be too much of a bother for you to deal with.
We’re nearly there! Go to the Froststone Vault and head down to X: 57.44 / Y: 21.23, this will lead into another cave filled with angry mushrooms.
For a breath of fresh mountain air, head over to the island north of the Morqut Village at Tempest Cove. No challenges here whatsoever as you can simply swoop down, open the chest that can be found at X: 28.34 / Y: 41.97, and promptly leave.
Don’t forget to go for rares as well! They’re completely random but they reset pretty fast so getting keys from them from time to time might be viable enough for you.
