The Warrior is probably the most played class in WoW. It is also one of the simplest ones out there. You will be a brute force of power and take on enemies head first. In this guide, we will be showing you the best Protection Warrior build and how you can become one. Let’s get started.

Protection Warrior Guide | Dragonflight Pre-Patch – WoW

The Protection warrior is a very strong class and role to play at the moment in WoW. It is possible, as said by many other players, the strongest tank class to play in the game as it is. This means that if you are a tank role and a warrior, well this guide will certainly suit you the best.

Talents

The talent tree is definitely what makes the warrior what it is. So it is single-handedly the best and most crucial thing when playing the protection warrior. Make sure to follow these traits and perks to the last so that you can get the most out of your tank warrior.

Leveling Tree

Source – Wow at Night

This is the leveling talent tree that you should be using. It will help you out and give you the most amount of survivability that you will need. Basically very good when you’re going to solo dungeons or doing some difficult quests.

Raid Talent Tree

Source – Wow at Night

This is the talent tree and focuses that you want to go to whenever you might be going into raids and dungeons. It simply works the best. Of course, it doesn’t work if you go solo so without saying you will have to come with a squad.

It will give you the most amount of protection abilities and the most amount of defense. You will have buffs that will grant you bigger HP and overall skills that will help out your team too.

Mythic Plus Talent Tree

Source – Wow at Night

This is the final tree that you might want to be going for with your Protection Warrior. This one is the best when it comes to PVP situations. You will be dealing the most amount of damage while also having the ability to take a lot of damage too.

Scaring your opponents as well as stunning them will be your thing. Also, slowing them down is very handy as well. Very good tree and will raise up your Rank very quickly and fast.

Rotation Of Skills

When playing the Protection Warrior you will not have all that many skills and abilities that you will need to use, as the Mage for example. You will just have a couple of limited ones but that will do the trick.

Now, some of these skills have very long cooldowns which means that you will have to use them in the proper time. Even if you are one second off it can mean that you don’t get the most out of them.

This is the best rotation of how you should be using your skills:

  1. Shield Slam
  2. Impending Victory – for healing
  3. Thunder Clap
  4. Execute – ST Rage Dump
  5. Revenge – AoE Rage Dump

So just make sure to use them in this order and you should be good to go.

Stats

The overall stats for the Protection Warrior can vary, but still, at the end of the day, there are some stats that are simply best for the warrior and something that you cannot do without.

Here are the best stats and you should rank them up for your character as shown here as well.

  1. Strength
  2. Haste
  3. Versatility
  4. Critical Strike
  5. Mastery

Do not just go focusing everything you have on the strength. This is something that a lot of people do and they end up not getting the most out of their warrior. Combine all of these stats and mix them up, but of course, as strength is your main stat.

Legendaries

There are some special legendaries that you need to look out for. Here are some of them:

  • Unity

  • Reprisal

  • The Wall

That’s everything that you need to know to make your Protection Warrior the best in the world. We hope that this guide has helped you out on which types of things you should be picking for your warrior. Have fun! A big thank you to Wow at Night from YouTube.
