Sometimes you just accept quests left and right without really knowing how to get them done in the first place. It can get confusing at first, especially if you’re just looking for one target in a dungeon filled with mobs ready to beat the lights of out you, which is exactly the case when it comes to locating the Pyrachniss in World of Warcraft.

In this guide you don’t have to worry about the guards that get in your way, we’ll take you right to the honey pot. Honey is a euphemism for the lava, and no you can’t eat it.

WoW: Dragonflight – Pyrachniss Location

The Pyrachniss is basically a giant tarantula imbued with fire elements, hence the name.

For slaying the rare eight-legged cave dweller you will get 9500 Exp, 28 gold, 4 silver, and 450 Elemental Overflow.

To find the beast, go to The Old Weyrn Grounds and find the entrance to The War Creche.

The way downwards is almost similar to the other dungeons that can be found in the Forbidden Reach, either you destroy everything that dares hinder your advance or simply ignore the inconveniences as you make your way to the bottom of the stairwell.

Once you reach the opening a small group will start to pile up on you, cast them aside permanently and head towards the left side of the room where you can see a small tornado spinning around.

Take that going down to make sure your kneecaps don’t pop off the moment you hit the platform at the bottom.

Naturally, you’d want to avoid the molting hot lava during your descent to the Earth Warder’s Cauldron, once you touch the ground, the fight with the Pyrachniss will begin shortly so make every effort to stay on the platform for the duration of the fight!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
