How to Cut Moisture Seal Inside Cave
Caves are all over Dune: Awakening, and most of them are sealed off by something called a Moisture Seal, a kind of gooey barrier that closes cave entrances and keeps the good stuff inside from being looted too early. These doors look like force fields and are impossible to pass unless you have the right tool.
- To break through a Moisture Seal, all you need is a simple weapon: The Scrap Metal Knife. Yup, that’s it. No high-tech gadgets or advanced skills, just a knife made of junk. But here’s the kicker: you have to craft it yourself.
- You’ll need Salvaged Metal to craft the knife. Luckily, it’s easy to get. Look around near the sealed cave entrance, there’s a corpse nearby with some Salvaged Metal inside. Pick it up, and you’re halfway there.
- Now that you’ve got the metal: Open your crafting menu (default: Tab > Crafting tab). Scroll until you see Scrap Metal Knife. Hit Craft, wait for it to finish and you’re ready to go. It’s seriously that simple. No workbench, no blueprint hunting, just raw material and a click.
- Now for the fun part: Walk up to the Moisture Seal, equip your new knife and slice through the Moisture Seal.
