With all of the new stuff being added to Roblox’s Clover Retribution, it can be easy to lose track of how some of the basics work and what other features are involved with even the simplest of things. In this case, many people are still confused about how stats in the game work and what else they can do for you. In this guide, we will be teaching you all about them!

Complete Stats Guide

Stat points are gained through leveling up your character, and there are four of them, each with different benefits. Here are all of the stats in the game, as well as what they do:

  • Dexterity – By having more DEX, you will gain higher slashing and piercing damage.
  • Strength – Increasing your STR will lead to a higher bludgeoning damage and a better block bar.
  • Intelligence – This will increase your magic damage.
  • Constitution – This will increase your health and mana.

As far as which stat is the most important, that will depend entirely on your preferred build. For example, if you are more of a magic user, then having a high intelligence should be a no-brainer.

On the flip side, if you are more of a melee user, depending on your weapons of choice, you will want to focus on either strength or dexterity. The former is more for stuff like hammers, while DEX will be more beneficial for swords and spears.

Regardless of your build, you should always have some constitution. This stat is essential to any build because you will need a lot of health and/or mana to survive and actually use your abilities, so always allocate a few points into it.

If you are unsatisfied with your stat allocation or just want to try a different build, you can either spend Robux or use an Elixir of Renewal to reset all of your points. You can get this by either:

  • Crafting it at the Potion Maker for 1850 gold and some Fire Lily (5x), Blue Lily (7x), and Mana Flowers (5x)
  • Crafting it at the Spatial lab for the same resources but much fewer gold.

Bonus Traits via Stats

One thing a lot of players seem to be unaware of is that if you have 60% or more of your stat points allocated to one of the four categories, you will receive a pair of traits that will grant you even more useful passives.

There are a total of eight possible traits, with two for each stat. In the following sections, we’ll go through what they do:

60% or More Dexterity Traits

The first trait you get with 60% or more DEX is called Swift Reflexes. This basically just increases your perfect dodge window by a small amount, and it also boosts your speed a bit. This also changes your dash animation.

You will also receive the Assassin trait, which increases how much threat you generate with basic attacks by around 2%.

60% or More Strength Traits

For STR, you will get the Warrior’s Might trait. This pretty much doubles your block damage, making it great for dealing with people who love to turtle during a fight.

You also get the trait simply called Warrior. This will increase your threat generation by a huge 20% and also boost the soft cap of your maximum health gain, making you slightly tankier than the average player.

60% of More Intelligence Traits

Under INT, you will receive the Arcane Insight trait. With this trait, you will essentially triple your clover mastery experience gains. While under 50% mana, you will also receive a scaling magic damage boost that caps out at 25%.

As an added bonus, you will also gain the Arcanist trait, which increases how much threat you generate with both healing and damaging spells at varying rates. Your maximum mana gain soft cap will also be bumped up to 85% from a meager 50%.

60% or More Constitution Traits

Finally, for CON, you will get the Sentinel trait. This increases your threat generation by around 35% and also increases your maximum health gain soft cap by up to 75%, even more than the Warrior buff.

You will also receive the Unyielding Sentinel trait. This will give you a significant incoming damage reduction from all sources, and this will scale up to a maximum of 25% when your health goes under 50%.

Needless to say, constitution traits are essential for builds that revolve around tanking and being a general nuisance to both PVE and PVP enemies.
