Poppy Playtime: Forever is a Roblox spinoff of the titular franchise that will let players experience roughly the same type of gameplay you’d expect from the original games. In addition to having a level builder, this game has a relatively short main story, and in this guide, we’ll show you how to beat it!
Full Walkthrough, Easter Egg, & Ending Guide
Upon clicking the “Play” button, you will find yourself in the main lobby of the game. From here, just head on over to the front of the door under the “Play” sign.
You can play this with other people too, but you can start the main game alone as long as you stand in the square outline. After a brief countdown, the chapter will begin with a cutscene.
Intro Phase
Once the cutscene is over, look at the ground around you to find the security access card. Pick this up as this is your first objective.
After picking up the card, you can use it to open the blue door by swiping the access card on the card reader beside it. Upon entering this room, another cutscene will play.
Opening the Break Room
When the cutscene ends, you will be locked inside this room, and your objective will be to open the employee break room by finding batteries to power up the door.
The first battery can be found in the locker just beside the break room door. The second battery is sitting on top of a cart on the opposite side of the room.
With both batteries on hand, just slot them in to the pack on the ground that’s connected to the card reader. After that, you can now swipe your card to open the break room!
Entering the Locker Room and Supply Room
After opening the break room door, immediately in front of you will be the iconic grabpack. Approach it and press E to pick it up. Equipping the grabpack will activate your next objective.
On one of the walls, you will see a hint stating that you need to “find the fuses”. Now get over to the other end of the locker room and use the grabpack to activate the blue door panel.
Enter the now open supply room and walk up to the glowing blue circle panel with the electricity sign above it. Use either the blue or red hand to activate it. This will cause electricity to flow through your arm.
While the cable connecting to the blue/red hand is glowing, walk around the two poles in the center of the room to power them up.
After wrapping around the two poles, you have to turn around and use the other hand on the unpowered panel. If you did it correctly, the door to your left should open right up.
Getting the Fuses
As hinted by the graffiti in one of the earlier rooms, you will have to find eight fuses to open the next door. There are actually more than eight scattered around, and their locations are highlighted in your screen.
Despite how easy the objective seems, there’s a catch to this, however. The reason there’s an excess of fuses around is because you will have to avoid Huggy Wuggy, who is roaming around the facility.
We are unsure if the fuses spawn at the same places every playthrough, but you definitely won’t have a hard time finding them as you can see them at all times. The real challenge is going to be surviving.
Once you have at least eight fuses, head over to the fuse box beside the mechanical room door. You can’t miss it, as it’s highlighted in green and is visible at all times.
This will go by much faster if you have other players collecting fuses with you. This is especially true if you have one other person lure Huggy Wuggy away from everybody else.
Inside The Mechanical Room
Upon filling up the fuse box and opening the mechanical room door, enter the next room and immediately turn right. There, you can open another door by activating the blue panel.
Inside this room, you will find a glowing circle that all players have to step in. There is also a generator that indicates how many levers have been pulled, hinting at a future objective.
Connecting the Pipes
The next objective is to connect the pipes beside the generator. All of these can be found on the shelves in the previous room. All of them are highlighted like the fuses, and they are glowing too.
Again, though, despite how easy this objective is and there is no chance for you to get lost, you will have to deal with Huggy Wuggy. This monster will continue chasing you around, so be careful!
Turning the Valves and the Laser Puzzle
As implied earlier, your next objective will be to pull levers all around the same room as the generator. Just look at the pipes and you will find large orange levers. Pull these with your grabpack.
After that, a giant laser machine will activate in the room. Your next task will be to turn the mirrors all around the facility using the red hand.
Again, Huggy Wuggy will continue chasing you throughout all of this, but all you need to do is follow the laser and turn the mirrors until the signs above them turn green.
Occasionally, boxes and other objects may be blocking the laser. Simply push these aside using your grabpack. At the end, the laser will hit a card scanner beside a door with an “Employees Only” sign.
The Red Keycard and Manager’s Office
Inside the “Employees Only” room, you will find the red keycard on one of the shelves. Pick this up to proceed with the next objective.
Go to the second floor and use the red keycard to open the door to the Manager’s Office. You will see a glowing circle in the distance to help guide you there.
Inside the Manager’s Office, you will find a locked safe that is connected to an incomplete jigsaw puzzle. As you’ve probably guessed by now, you’ll need to find the puzzle pieces to complete it.
Again, these are highlighted on your screen, so just walk up to them and pick them up and return to the puzzle. This will reveal the code for the safe. This code is randomized, so you’ll have to figure that out on your own.
After you figure out the correct four digit combination for the safe, it will open and reveal the black keycard. Pick this up to proceed to the next task.
Finding the Security Room
After picking up the black keycard, you will be tasked with finding the security room. A glowing circle will appear in the distance, so you and everyone else in the lobby has to go over there.
Once all players are standing in the circle, a cutscene will play. Huggy Wuggy will then appear and chase you down a long corridor with a few obstacles in the way.
Just run through this straightforward path until you reach the vent at the end. Another cutscene will play, and you will now be in the security room full of monitors.
Electricity Poles 2.0
In the security room is another glowing panel similar to the one that you interacted with in the supply room earlier. Before you can start connecting the cables to the poles, break the window with your grabpack.
With the glass broken, connect one of your hands to the glowing panel and jump out of the now-open window to proceed with the puzzle.
Wrap the glowing cable around the poles just like you did in an earlier puzzle. At the end of the hallway, with all the poles powered up, use your other hand to activate the electricity panel.
Whack a Mole (or Monitors)
Finally, when you return to the main part of the security room, you will get a one minute timer on the top of your screen. During this period, you have to hit all the monitors that have the A.I. onthem.
Eventually, the timer will stop, and you will get your last objective, which is to turn off the A.I. by stepping on the glowing circle.
And that wraps up the main game (for now), as after stepping on the circle, all players will be teleported to the main lobby and get the post-game stats screen. Oddly enough, there is no ending cutscene.
BONUS: Easter Egg
With the black keycard on hand, instead of finishing the game, you can return to the “Employees Only” room where you got the red keycard earlier.
Here, you will find a suspicious stack of boxes with a less-than-subtle easter egg drawing above it. Push these boxes aside and open the door by activating the card reader beside it.
Inside will be a series of secret rooms with locked doors. We are unsure if there will be a way to open these or if they are being saved for future updates.
And that is pretty much it for this game. While you are here, why don’t you check out our guide on how to get the UGC in Poppy Playtime: Forever?
