It is time for the long-awaited tier list of Project Smash fighting style/characters. Most of them can be said pretty well-balanced and interesting in their own ways. Although the meta has a slight chance towards ranged characters, who are able to make distances and still deal huge knockbacks. Without further, let’s see where your favorite character lands!
Best Characters Tier List
There’s a total of 8 unlockable characters or styles in the game. Below is the tier list of characters and the ranking here are based on various things.
But mainly: combo potential, knockback, and recovery potential. We all know that no matter how good we play, it’s a necessary with the more hits we take overtime.
S-Tier
- Archer – We all know why Archer is where he is. Once there’s an Archer main on the field, everyone just has to work together lest they get knocked back out of nowhere. Archer has the range, insane combo potential, and good knockbacks. You and I both, we don’t want to deal with them.
- Knight – The duality of defense and attack. Now has decent damage and is pretty good in recovering after knockback.
A-Tier
- Ninja – Our first character in the game. The Ninja’s fighting style can be annoying to deal with. They can pop in and out, their Move 1 can be super impactful with the aim. On top of that they can throw a bomb.
- Boxer – Boxer has one of the best combo potentials. He has to be close to hit while Ninja doesn’t which is why it’s still at the top of the tier. Though he doesn’t have the best recovery.
- Sumo – Great damage, great combo, great recovery. An overall great character but not the range.
B-Tier
- Viking – Slow movesets. Viking doesn’t have the mobility most other characters here have. But he’s definitely a hard-hitting character with wide AoE. Close-quarter combats when a Viking has you locked in can be pretty devastating.
- Bandit – Has a pretty high combo potential and deals a lot of damage with okay range. If he has better recovery, he would’ve made it higher in the tier list.
C-Tier
- Rogue – He definitely needs a buff because not only does he have short combo, but he also deals very low damage. He’s also bad with recovery.
And that’s the tier list for Project Smash! We can’t wait to see what the new characters have in store. And with so many more tiers to unlock in the game, new metas will shake the tier list.
