Type Soul allows players to choose between different weapons that all come from the Bleach universe. One such style that you can use in Type Soul is the Kendo, which if you watch the anime or read the manga, you will know that this is the specialty of Kenpachi Zaraki. If you want to become a master at this fighting style the same way as Kenpachi Zaraki, then you have come to the right place. In this guide, I will show you how you can use the Kendo fighting style in PvP fights in Type Soul.
Kendo PVP Guide
To understand how Kendo works, you need to know it’s moves. These are the moves Kendo players use during PvP:
- Overpowering Slash
- Flower Passage
- Mortal Ties
- Rising Swallow
- Bisection
- Delayed Crossings
- Vertical Down
One of the most common moves that you can see Kendo players use is Flower Passage, which is a long range melee attack that pushes the player forward until they either reach their target and hit someone, or after 2 seconds without hitting anyone. If the target is indeed hit by the Flower Passage, they would most likely combo the enemy with Overpowering Slash, then get them up in the air with Rising Swallow.
Kendo can also be used to get away from attacking players as fast as possible. After gaining some distance, you can immediately regain distance by jumping up into the air and initiating the slam attack. Once the slam attack connects, Kendo players will initiate a combo by using Vertical Down, then Split Gate. Once Split Gate connects, the player will jump back and do Delayed Crossings, which will launch the player back into the air to perform another slam attack. After the attack hits, Bisection is used immediately.
If you don’t have Bisection, Mortal Ties is also a good alternative. However, bear in mind that Mortal Ties takes a bit longer to attack, which may leave you open to enemy attacks.
