Wartales is a top down, real time strategy game set in the Medieval times. In the game, you can customize your character however you want, from their looks, to their skills. You get to build the character you want from the ground up and immerse yourself in the world of Wartales. In this guide, we will show you how to build the best Fighter build. As the Fighter, you will be dealing the most damage, while also taking the most damage. If you are interested in becoming a grade A Fighter, then follow this guide and we will show you.

Fighter Best Build Guide – Wartales

First off, we will be starting with the skills you can use in the game.

  • Encouragement – The unit and all allies in the area gain Protection for 2 rounds.
  • Destabilising Strike – Deals 44 to 54 damage to the target and applies Destabilisation for 2 rounds.
  • Laceration – Deals 41 damage to all the units in the area 2 times. Usable after 2 attacks.

For this guide, you will have to select Destabilising Strike, which grants you the Fighter subclass. After that, you can view the next set of skills.

  • Defensive Stance – The unit gains Deflection. If they are engaged in combat, you gain 1 Valor.
  • Valorous Chain – Every time an attack hits several enemies, you gain 1 Valor.
  • Valorous Duel – Every time this unit engages in combat, you gain 1 Valor.
  • Bulwark – Each time this unit engages, they gain Deflection.
  • Counter-attack – Each this this unit engages, they gain Riposte.
  • Daring – As long as a Bonus is active on this unit, their attacks apply Weakening for 1 round.
  • Last Stand – As long as this unit has no Armor, they have Brutality.
  • Hand-to-hand Combat – Applies Disarm to the target for 1 round.
  • Hardcore Training – This unit is immune to Bleeding, Poison, or Burning.

With the available skills, you should select Valorous Duel, Counter-attack, Hardcore Training in order to realize the full potential of the build.

Now that we have our skills, we can now move on to our gear and what you should get. That is also including the stats and special skills as well.

  • Ulfberht of the Eye – The Eye on the end of this Ulfberht’s pommel induces the irresistible urge to burn hertics.

  • Poison Vial – Not so long ago, merely having a poison vial in your possession could send you straight to jail.
    • After using a skill, this unit has 30% chance to apply 1 Poison to the targets hit.

  • Tinkerer
    • Can learn recipes, craft, and enhance Camping Gear at the Camp Workshop.
    • Can learn blueprints, create and improve Apprentice Camping Gear.

  • Angler
    • Can fish in Fishing Huts.
  • Scholar
    • Can decipher codices and piece together Antiquities at the Camp Lectern.

    • Can learn recipes and brew concoctions at the Village Apothecary Table.

    • Can steal items and pick locks.

Here, the best Profession for you is the Tinkerer. It plays to your stats well, and it helps that you can get better gear as well.
