Cuttlefish galore!

Dave the Diver, created by Mintrocket, is an enjoyable adventure game where players assume the role of Dave, exploring the vast ocean, completing quests, interacting with characters, and managing a thriving Sushi restaurant. This game seamlessly blends elements from both management games and action-oriented gameplay, resulting in a satisfying experience that captivates players. This guide will focus on how to get Cuttlefish and its Skin Fragments.

How to Get Cuttlefish & Its Skin Fragment

Cuttlefish can be found in the Blue Hole region of the game during both night and day. In addition to the fish itself, the Cuttlefish also drops Skin Fragments, which are important components in weapon upgrades.

However, the drop rate of the Cuttlefish Skin Fragment is quite low, meaning that you may have to try multiple times before you get even one. In our experience, using the Knife or any other melee weapon greatly increases the chances of the fragment dropping.

However, this does not mean that using the Tranquilizer or the Harpoon will not yield the Cuttlesfish Skin Fragment. Using them will result in a much lower drop rate, but you will be able to catch the Cuttlefish with ease. The reason for this is that if you go closer to the Cuttlesfish, they release ink which clouds the player’s vision.

This can be very dangerous since if there are other predators within the player’s view and the ink clouds vision, then it is very possible that the player might accidentally walk into them. Hence, it is recommended to use long-range weapons whenever possible.
