Do you know that from the 5 Base Classes, you can turn into 10 classes in Arcane Lineage? These classes will give you different sets of abilities based on your playstyle. Other than that, you’ll also see another 3 Sub-Classes with extra perks to aid you in battle.
In this guide, we’ll give you all of the locations of all sub-classes in the game. You will also get to know some information about what these classes are capable of. These will be great addition to your current set of abilities, which will greatly help your progress.
All Sub-Class Locations
There are three sub-classes in-game currently: Beastmaster, Musician and Alchemist. If you’re interested on taking them, make sure to read further into the guide.
Beastmaster
In order to find Beastmaster, you’ll want to head right from the city castle’s entrance. Then, walk along the wall to the right side of the castle.
Then, from the entrance on the right side, head left. Keep walking until you get to the next location.
As you walk, you will eventually see a small hut. This is not what you want to look for, however, this is simply for navigation.
Then, walk over the hut and look for the tree behind it. You’ll see the NPC that will give you the Beastmaster Sub-class.
The Beastmaster has one Active and Two Passives you can use. His active –Mark, will hit an enemy with a piece of soul. If this kills an enemy, that enemy is added to your bestiary. Your two passives will be Sneak, which will give you a tool called sneak. On using this item, you will crouch and avoid encounters. However, you will take damage over time and move slowly. You can also reuse the tool to cancel the sneak.
The other passive is Bestiary, which is also a tool. On using this, you will open up your bestiary and lets you see information of an enemy you have killed with your active ability Mark. Enemies killed with mark will have better drop rates. Overall, this subclass will help you obtain more drops from enemies.
Musicican
From where you found the Beastmaster, you will want to turn right and head straight. Keep running and this will lead you to the desert. Here, you will be able to find the tavern that has the Musician NPC.
Keep walking straight and walk a little bit to the left. As you walk, you may encounter some enemies so take your time and defeat them.
You will eventually see a tavern which you can walk into. Inside, you’ll be able to see the Musician NPC which you can interact with to receive the Musician Subclass.
The Musician has two actives and one passive you can use. His first active, Latir Minor, will strum a violin generated from your magic, creating a resonance that empowers your allies for 4 turns. His next active, Rebanar Major scales of arcane. This ability will produce a trumpet from your magic and release a powerful reverberation that slices your enemies. This will also inflict 4 turns of Vulnerable and 3 turns of Blindness on all enemies.
Your passive is called Curar Forte, which is an utility item. This item will force you to use around 3% of your total max health to heal your allies for 6% of their health. If you are someone who loves to play in parties, this subclass will be really useful. This game is centered around party play so consider getting this sub-class!
Alchemist
In order to get alchemist, you will want to go to the main city castle’s main gate. Then keep walking straight once you reach The Crossing. As you progress, you’ll see yourself on the bridge that leads you to a green fog area.
Once you walk over the bridge, turn left and keep walking along the brown path.
You will then arrive at a place where the brown path splits. Then, head to your left and you’ll be able to keep progressing forward.
You’ll then be able to see a platform that you can go on top of. Keep climbing and you’ll be able to continue progressing.
Then, keep walking until you see a slope that you can go on top of. Keep walking and you’ll see a stone bridge that you can go through. Be careful since you do not want to fall down.
Then, you’ll be able to see a green launchpad that will launch you forward. This will lead you to an area called the Westwood Heart. Keep heading deeper into the area and you’ll be able to find the Alchemist NPC.
Do you see that bridge we’ve marked in the image down below for you? You will want to head to that bridge to head to the hut of the Alchemist NPC. In order to do that, turn left as you get deeper into the town in the middle of the area.
Once you’ve turned left, keep going forward until you see the NPC somewhere to the left of the house. Talk to the NPC and you’ll be able to get the Alchemist NPC.
The alchemist will allow you to have some potions: small healing, ferrus skin, invisibility. These will give you different effects. You will also have 1 active and 3 passive abilities. Your active ability is Dangerous Mixture, which allows you to throw an undodgeable potion at an enemy, applying 3 turns of random stat debuffs.
Your three passives are as follows. Iron Gut will reduce toxicity from potions drank in battle. This means that you can consume two HP potions with this passive. Create Cauldron is an ability that lets you spawn a cauldron at any place. Your last passive is Certified, which lets you sell ingredients and potions at Apothecary for extra money.
Those are the three sub-classes locations in Arcane Lineage. These all give you different sets of abilities you can utilize in battle. Again, it all depends on your playstyles on which one is the best. Classes get buffed and nerfed through different patch notes so in the end, choose the one that fits you the most!
