It’s only a matter of time until you get more than one quest related item in Remnant 2 before the confusion sets in. I mean, what does a guy have to go to get extra weapons around here? But don’t worry, you’re not the only one who’s having a slow day when it comes to finding this weapon.
Now there’s a few steps when it comes to obtaining the Pulse Rifle. In this guide, we’ll also cover where you can get the Decorum Cipher and Memory Core as you’ll need those two items to gain access to the room where the rifle is.
How to Get Pulse Rifle Secret Weapon | Where to use Decorum Cipher & Memory Core II
All of these items can be found in the Abyssal Rift in N’Erud. To make sure that you get the Pulse Rifle in your game, you need to have the Dormant N’Erudian Facility and Terminus Station dungeons in your world. You’ll have to go all the way to the Ascension Spire’s basement to confirm if the two dungeons have spawned in your world.
The two empty slots represent where the Decorum Cipher and Memory Core have to go into in order to get to the Pulse Rifle. If these aren’t present then you have to go back to the main menu. Under adventure mode, do a reroll and check your world again until you get two slots.
To start things off, you need to get to the Abyssal Rift first. You can get there by going through the first area, which is the Forgotten prison. From there you’ll be able to see where the Ascension Spire is. It’s a large 30 meter tall statue, maybe even more, making it quite difficult to miss.
The Dorman N’Erudian Facility should be close to the Ascension Spire. To get the Memory Core, you have to get the Biome Control Glyph first. Once you get to this point of the dungeon (see image below for reference) you need to find an elevator that leads into the control room.
Follow the path and stay close to the right side. You’ll eventually come across a gap in between the rails that lets you access the lower levels.
When you reach the lower levels, run all the way to the end then turn left. Turn left again at the very end to reach the elevator.
Make another left turn when the elevator takes you back up. The next room you’ll end up in will have the Biome Control Glyph sitting on top of a control panel on the right side. You need this item to unlock the door back at the entrance. You can just fast travel using the waypoint to cut back on walking.
Moving on to the Terminus Station! This time, we’ll be starting at the checkpoint next to the train. Head towards the right side and crouch to get through the pipes. There’s a ladder at the end that you can climb once you’re through.
Go straight into the next room and you’ll be led to the top of the train. There’s an open hatch that you can access from the floor you’re on. Drop down from the hatch and the Decorum Cipher will be in the room you’ll end up in.
Go back to the Ascension Spire basement once you have the two quest items in your possession. Put in both items inside of the slot to unlock the purple barriers in the back. The fist slot will grant you access to the Core Booster while the second slot will get you to the Pulse Rifle.
