Elden Ring gives a lot of options when it comes to Strength builds, and most of them come in the form of Greatswords.  One of the nine legendary weapons in the game, the Golden Order Greatsword is one of the best when it comes to mid-game to end-game content.

Golden Order Greatsword Legendary Weapon Location – Elden Ring

If you want a melee that has holy properties and don’t like how Miquellan Knight’s blade looks so small, then this Greatsword is a great alternative.  It scales with Strength, Dexterity and Faith so it’s good for most Strength builds.

To get to the greatsword, you would need to acquire both the Haligtree Secret Medallions (Left and Right) which can be found in the Village of Albinaurics and Castle Sol after fighting Commander Niall.  Once you have both, go to the Cave of Forlorn and fight the boss Misbegotten Crusader.

When you succeed in defeating him, he will drop this sword.  This Greatsword is one of the most beautiful one in the game as it is modeled after the Elden Ring according to lore.

Aside from aesthetics, it has a built-in Weapon Skill called Establish Order which is definitely good for hard bosses as you go along the game.  You can use somber smithing stones to upgrade it but can’t be enchanted with Magic or Consumables.

As with any Legendary armament, you also can’t apply any Ashes of War on this particular Greatsword.
