Remnant 2 – How to Get Ghost Shell Mutator Guide

Finding Mutators in Remnant 2 can be a bit of work. There are times when you can just buy them from someone in Ward 13, there are also times when you’ll need to defeat a boss that’s so difficult to find. But for this Mutator, weirdly enough you’ll just have to inspect some fruit. Where’s it located though? In this guide, I’ll show you can easily get the Ghost Shell Mutator in the game. Let’s get right into it!

How to Get Ghost Shell Mutator Guide

Compared to other ones, the Ghost Shell Mutator is somehow harder to get. There are more items that you’ll need to acquire, you’ll jump from one place to another, and you’ll do a bit of interaction. Here are the steps that you’ll need to do in order to get the Ghost Shell Mutator:

1. Before anything else, make sure you have already found both the Ornate Key and Ornate Lockbox.
2. Read the note on the Dead Guard and pick up the Ornate Key.
3. Go through the secret wall, go up the elevator and grab the Ornate Lockbox. (Do not open it)
4. Give it to the Empress.
5. Get and equip the Red Doe Sigil Amulet.
6. Go back to The Widow’s Court and stand next to the statues. A secret door will then open nearby.
7. Grab the Rotten Thaen Fruit and inspect it to get the Ghost Shell Mutator.

Ghost Shell Mutator Detailed Walkthrough

First, you’ll need to find both the Ornate Key and Ornate Lockbox.

In order to find the Ornate Key, you’ll need to go the corpse of the Dead Guard and read the note.

For the Ornate Lockbox, proceed your way down. Go left towards this destroyed wall.

Head straight and go down the stairs, then turn left.

Again, head straight until you reach this waterfall. You’ll then need to jump across.

Keep going until you reach this supposed dead-end. Go through the secret wall on the left side of the room.

Continue with your way until you reach the elevator, use it to make your way up into the Ornate Lockbox.

There it is! Pick it up but keep in mind: do not open it! Or else you won’t be able to progress into the Mutator.

After successfully collecting the key and lockbox, make your way into the Empress in The Red Throne. Then, select the following options:

1. You have some questions.
2. I think this may belong to you [Give Lockbox]. (Keep in mind that you will give it up and you won’t be able to open it for yourself)
3. After that, other options will not matter.

After succeeding the previous step, you’ll then have the Red Doe Sigil amulet. Equip it and it’s needed for the next step.

Make your way into the Doe and Ravager statues in The Widow’s Court. If you have the amulet equipped, the statues will move and a secret door in the floor will open up. After the animation is done, simply make your way down into the room.

There it is, the Rotten Thaen Fruit. Interact and inspect it in your inventory in order to get the Ghost Shell Mutator. What can you do with the fruit, well that’s for another story. A lot actually.

Phew, job is done! The Ghost Shell is a ranged mutator which boosts the damage of the next Weakspot Hit by 20% after 3 consecutive Weakspot Hits. Moreover, it enhances your Weakspot Critical Chance by 15%. If you like and find hitting weakspots satisfying, you’ll love this Mutator.
