There are many skills you can increase in Palia and Hunting is just one of them. As you progress in the game and use your arrows to hunt animals, you might notice some special animals like White Chapaa or Magic Sernuk. Unfortunately, these animals are not very easy to hunt, and your basic Makeshift Arrow won’t help you at all. Because of that, you will need to get yourself different arrows at some point. In this guide, we are going to show you how to change arrow types in Palia to become a better hunter.
How To Change Arrow Types
As you play Palia more and more, you are going to realize that hunting is one of the game’s most crucial elements. You will need to collect meat and fur to make food recipes and leather, or you will simply want to sell them to make some quick money.
The first arrow type you can craft is the Makeshift Arrow, which is fine for hunting Chapaas but not so great for hunting Sernuks.
The good news is that the game also includes four other varieties of arrows. Which we will talk about later in this guide. Now, let’s give you what you actually came for and show you how to change arrow types when you are hunting.
To change the arrow type, first, make sure to craft it on your worktable and have it in your inventory.
After that, equip your bow and right-click on your mouse. Doing this will enable you to see whichever arrows you brought with you.
You can simply choose one of them to change your arrow type and use it while hunting.
Arrow Types
Now that you know how to change between your arrows, you might be wondering which arrow types are available in the game.
As mentioned, there are five arrow types in total in Palia. These are:
- Makeshift Arrow: Gifted by Hassian.
- Standard Arrow: Requires Hunting Level 2.
- Slowdown Arrow: Requires Hunting Level 4.
- Fine Arrow: Requires Hunting Level 6.
- Dispel Arrow: Requires Hunting Level 7.
As your hunting skill increase, you will be able to purchase each of their recipes from Hassian.
This is all you need to do to easily change your arrow type in the middle of hunting in Palia. You can now switch between arrows whenever you want.
