Starfield has been one of the most anticipated games in recent years. The game represents the first original property that Bethesda has worked on ever since the release of Fallout. Hence, gamers around the globe are anticipated for the release of the game on the 6th of September.
With the game in early access currently, many players have been confused about Tapping the Grid mission. This guide will help you accomplish this mission with ease and get your rewards.
Tapping the Grid Guide
Accepting the Quest
The first step is to accept the quest by talking to the relevant NPC. For this, you will need to head over to the Well area. This can be accessed by using the elevator in the MAST Headquaters.
Once in the Well area, you should try to find Louisa Reyez. Talk to her, and she will inform you of the details. The quest basically involves flipping junction box switches to reroute power.
First Box
After talking to Reyez, you will have to locate the first Junction Box. This can be found by following the blue waypoint that appears.
Simply head left from where you interacted with Reyez and keep going straight ahead. After walking through a crowded hallway, you should be able to spot a staircase on the left.
Take the first left from the staircase, and the junction box will be right in front of you. Interact with this junction box to complete the first objective. This will cause another circuit to trip.
Second Junction Box
For the second box, you will need to head back to the main area through the crowded hallway. From here, take the first left and go up the stairs. From here, go straight ahead and take the first left once again. You should see a narrow staircase that leads to the upper level.
After heading up the stairs, you will need to take the first right, and there should be a switch in front of you. Activate the switch to open the door in front of you and head through. You should spot a pale white colored door, as shown in the image below.
Interact with this door to open it, and the junction box should be behind it. Open the Panel Door on the box and activate the Electrical Panel to complete this objective.
Third Junction Box
The third junction box is relatively close to the previous one. Simply retrace your steps and go down the narrow staircase.
Now, go straight ahead from this staircase, and the next junction box should be at the dead end. Interact with this junction box to proceed to the final stage of this quest.
Fourth Junction Box
This is the final junction box that you are required to activate. For this, you will need to head over to the Trade Authority section.
To reach this, take the left from the last junction box and head back to the main area. From here, take the first right and head back through the crowded hallway. At the end of the hallway, take the first right, and you should see the Trade Authority symbol.
Take the first left from here and go up the stairs. At the top take a left again, and on the right, there should be a door that you can interact with.
Interact with the door to open it, and you will find a puzzle inside. This puzzle will require you to switch on the correct secondary circuit breakers to open the door.
To save you the hassle, simply activate the first three circuit breakers from the right side to open the door. You can check your progress by checking the green lights above your head.
When all of them are green, that means that the door can be opened. After that, simply open the door and activate the last junction box.
Head back to Reyez after activating all the boxes. Simply follow the waypoint to reach her. Completing this mission will reward you with 75 Experience Points. Let us know in the comments if you have any questions or suggestions for future content.
