Starfield is an RPG game that lets you take control of a captain of a ship that lets you travel to other galaxies in the universe, allowing you to meet all kinds of new people. Sometimes, these people will try to kill you for loot, or they will offer their services to you as a crew member.
Piloting a ship by yourself can be hard, so why not have some other people help you with that? In this guide, I will show you how to get extra crew slots so you can have more people in your ship in Starfield.
How To Get Extra Crew Slots
To get more crew to join you, you will need to unlock the Ship Command skill. Under the Social tab, you can find Ship Command at the very bottom.
Rank 1 of the skill will let you have 4 active crew members, and that will increase with each rank until you hit Rank 4, which will let you have 8 active crew members that you can have hired.
However, even if you maxed out the Ship Command skill, you would still need a ship that can carry 8 crew.
To do that, you will either need to buy a ship that has a Max Crew of 8, or you can upgrade your ship and add more crew slots by going to the Habs tab and find a ship upgrade that adds more Passenger Slots.
