Everyone who has played Starfield has heard about the Red Mile. Whether you visited it by coincidence, heard an NPC talking about it, or the name came up in one of your quests. Red Mile is a very fun place to visit, as you can play casino games, place bets, and talk to some unique characters.
However, the main attraction for this place is a huge obstacle course that players can participate in, called the Red Mile Race.
But how do you even get to this infamous Red Mile Bar? How do you participate in the race? What rewards does it hold in store for you? Find out all that and much more in this guide down below.
The Porrima System Location
Before you can be on your way towards the Red Mile Bar, you will first need to locate the Porrima System. It is located just east of the Alpha Centauri star system, or just south of the KRYX star system, on the starmap.
The Porrima System holds about six plants and a total of 15 moons, all of which revolve around the central star. Although the planet we are most interested in right now is Porrima III, which is the plant that houses the infamous Red Mile Bar.
Red Mile Location
As stated above, the Red Mile can be located on the planet Porrima III, which is inside the Porrima Star System. After selecting the planet, you’ll be able to select the Red Mile as shown in the picture below.
Once you arrive at the Red Mile, you can get straight to the Red Mile race by talking to Mei. Alternatively, you can look around, play some casino games, and buy some unique guns and combat equipment. There’s a lot you can do at the Red Mile, so enjoy your time!

The Red Mile Race and Rewards
After exploring the Red Mile, you’ll eventually find out about the hunger games inspired spectator event called the Red Mile Race. It’s a special challenge event that allows the player to take the role of a runner and complete various tasks.
After completing the race, you’ll be rewarded with a varying amount of credits (as it’s a betting game) and random equipment/weapons.
