Credits is one of the important currencies you’ll need to obtain as you progress and travel the planets in Starfield. With it, you’ll be able to customize, repair and buy new ships. You’ll also be able to buy space suits, weapons as well as many other useful items.
One way for you to obtain this currency is by selling Survey Data. In many areas, you’ll be able to see different NPCs that buy these items. You can then talk to them to sell these survey data. In this guide, we’ll show you how to sell survey data in Starfield for the best profit.
Where To Sell Survey Data
On the The Eye station in Alpha Centauri, you will want to look for Vladimir Sall. Once you land on the station, keep going deeper inside and you will be able to see him.
In the dialogues, select “I’ve got some survey data for you.“ and you will be able to access the menu which you can use to sell survey data.
There is also another place where you can sell these survey data for even more, but only for habitable planets survey data. In the map, click on the Sol system and go to Mars. You will then want to select and go to the city, which is Cydonia.
There, you will be able to find the Mining Colony of Cydonia. You’ll want to go straight inside and take the first right that you see.
After that, go inside the room and you will be able to see Phil Hill sitting in the middle of the area. Talk to him and you will see the dialogue options.
Keep it in mind that in order to sell survey data to him, you’ll need to complete his quest first, otherwise the option won’t show. You can then sell survey data to him for even more currencies.
That is how you’re going to be able to sell survey data in Starfield. There are two NPCs for you to sell survey data. You’ll want to talk to Phil Hill and sell everything to have to him since he buys for higher. For other survey data that he does not buy, you can sell it to Vladimir Sall and things will work just fine!
