Everyone keeps talking about the unbelievable attention to detail in Elden Ring or Lost Ark, but I feel as though there’s not much talk going around Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Now, it’s more like Borderlands on high heels, but man does this game a good linear story line filled with puzzles and points of interest. One such puzzle is the Queen’s Gate rune switch puzzle.

This rune switch puzzle isn’t unique to this area only. You’ll come across these in multiple areas in the game. Sometimes though, it can be hard to complete them.

Queen’s Gate Rune Switch Puzzle Solution – Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Now, the area in question, where the rune switch puzzle is, will be locked for those that haven’t defended the main door of the castle. Those that have, can start the puzzle by going to the runes directly (they’re on the roof of a shack):

Once players start the rune switch puzzle, it’s pretty simple from that point on. All you have to do is follow beams of green light that will come from the runes.

Runes can randomly appear on top of the roofs of shacks, so you need to get on the roof, stand near the rune to disable it, which in turn, will enable the next one (rune to which you need to go to next).

Here’s a more straightforward step-by-step on the sequence of runes and where to go once the rune switch puzzle has been started:

  1. Start The Puzzle

Once you initiate the puzzle, a green beam will appear right in front of you, go to that beam. You’ll have to climb to the roof of the shack to get to the rune.

  2. Second Rune

Once you deactivate the first one, again, the second one will appear right in front of you. That is, if you followed the conventional way of getting to the first rune. Either way, just look around for green beams and go there. An important note: The beams will be red before getting activated, so you can make a note of the exact spots for the runes before they’re activated.

  3. Third Rune

This is the part at which most players struggle. Once you deactivate the second rune, look northeast. You’ll see a small gate there, follow that path. Basically, go northeast, and you’ll see the third rune emitting green light.

That’s basically it. Just follow the green beams. The best strategy is just to look at the sky, you’ll see the beams that way the easiest.

On top of this puzzle, players might come across poetry pages, lore scrolls, and marbles, all in Queen’s Gate.
