Black Desert Online can be very tedious and complex with their quests. Sometimes you can grind something for a while, and sometimes, like this in case, you can mistake an entire section from it and do more then what you’re necessary, and still not complete the quest in the end.
With Erethea’s Limbo Trial you get different colors and different tasks for destroying. I will try to make it as simple as possible. Instead of destroying everything in sight, you will need to do these couple of things.

So for starters, everything in this quest is lined with these little stones. It is pretty simple really. They are color coded, and even have different marks on top of them for what rooms you have to clear.
Some times, if they do not have a colour for a room, you have to clear out a room on a random and hope it is yours. After clearing all the rooms that you need, you will get to the final treasure room.
So let’s begin with the quest line:
1. Imbue the Limbo Spire with five Souls of Origin
This one is very straight forward. New white enemies will spawn and surround you. All you need to do is – just kill the white big mobs.
Once you kill the white creatures, they will spawn a Flame. You will pick up the flame, or better yet, throw the flame at the tower by standing near the tower.
The flame will go into the tower and light up one of the torches. Now you can just rinse and repeat for the rest of them. Should be pretty simple and easy.
2. Defend the Limbo Spire from the Souls of Origin
Oh hello there white mobs. White big tough monsters will spawn. They will proceed to move very slowly but surely to the middle. To be more precise, they will move to the tower.
This is how they will look like. You can use all sorts of damage things, or just try to incapitate them and make them unable to move. Should be very simple and easy.
So, kill the white mobs before they get to the tower and damage it. That is really it. Easy peazy.
3. Weaken Erekhantuses with the soul of Origin and defeat as many as you can
This is even more simple than the others in my opinion. Basically all you need to do is focus on the packs of enemies. For making it easier and faster, focus on the big enemies first. They can do more dmg and more little enemies might come after you.
Keep killing the big white mobs and more of them will keep spawning. Once you kill enough of them, the quest will be finished and successful. This quest is just killing mobs in order.
4. You must resist by either using the Limbo Spires or defeating the Souls of Origin
Oh we meet again big white mobs. Again. Just these massive big white mobs will spawn but now there’s gonna be a catch. You will get a big debuff that lowers your DP by a huge amount.
This here is the debuff that will make it harder. Not that it is going to make this super hard, but still don’t just stand still while taking big amounts of dmg.
Once you kill the big white mob the debuff will go away. Kill all the others mobs and it’s done.
5. Attack and destroy the Limbo Spire with five Souls of Origin
This one is a little different. Instead of killing the white big mobs first, now you let them live till the end. They will proceed to cast little fireballs that can do a lot of dmg.
The key here, is that you need to stay next to the towers. These fireballs fired from them, will hit the towers instead. By hitting them, it will put out the flames and eventually destroy the tower.
There is a little catch. Once in a while you will spot a little red aura around the towers. This means that the tower can’t take damage, so you have to move on to the next one.
It can be hard and take multiple tries. But just remember, those 3 big white mobs will keep firing fireballs, and stay next to the towers it will take the damage instead of you. But still, there are a lot of mobs spawning, so make sure you come prepared.
6. Golden Door opens
Once you finish, the Golden Door will open. Walk through it, and enjoy the beautiful rewards inside.
