Star Ocean The Second Story R features some really secret and specific ways of obtaining items in the game. This provides players with a unique challenge of exploring the world and its options to unlock these secrets. There are so many stats you can play around with too, providing you with unique buffs and abilities.
One such item that you can unlock is the Bunny Mount. The Bunny Mount provides some great features that you will want to get when playing the game. However, this is only possible through the Bunny Call Super Specialty. In this guide, we will examine how to unlock the Bunny Mount by using this specialty. Let’s dive in!
How To Unlock Bunny Mount | Bunny Call Super Specialty
To unlock the Bunny Mount, there are a series of steps that you will need to follow. The first thing you need to unlock is the ‘Bunny Call’ Super Specialty. This specialty requires that you first fulfill two other specialty requirements.
At least, two characters in your team will need to have the ‘Familiar’ specialty at Level 4 while one character will need to have ‘Scouting’ at Level 1.
To do this, start by clicking on the Improve option in the Camp Menu.
After that, select the IC/Specialty Skills option. This will open the stats menu where you can improve each of your Character’s Specialties.
The first requirement is to level up the Familiar Specialty. You can do this by leveling up your Whistling and Animal Training.
You can keep track of how much you have improved the skill by looking at it on the right. Make sure you do this for two characters.
To level up the Scouting Specialty, you will need to Improve the Danger Radar for one character. We also highly recommend that you max out Determination. Doing so will reduce the SP cost of all other IC skills that you need for the Bunny Mount.
Once you have fulfilled the requirements, you will get a notification that you have unlocked the Bunny Call Super Specialty.
After that, return to the Camp Menu. This time click on the IC/Specialty option which is right underneath the Improve option.
In this Menu, scroll to the right until you are in the Super Specialty Menu. Look for the Bunny Call option in this list and select it.
In the Bunny Call menu, click on the Call Bunny Option. This option has a 35% success rate, meaning that you will need to click on it multiple times before you are able to summon a bunny. Eventually, you should get the option which says, ‘A Bunny has arrived.’
Now, exit the menu and return to the game. You will then have control of the Bunny and can explore with it to your heart’s content.
The Bunny Mount provides some interesting perks. Enemy symbols won’t spawn when you are riding the mount.
Movement speed is also doubled and you are able to traverse certain areas that can only be traversed with the Bunny Mount!
