The reporter Chisato is one of the first few characters in the series and return to Star Ocean: The Second Story R. The playable character can be recruited to your party as well in this version, known for her speed and fast hits. We’re going to show you how you can recruit the gunner to your team.
How To Recruit Chisato
To be able to recruit Chisato, you must have arrived to Nede which is a country in the second planet you arrive to. Chisato is a character hard to miss as you will see her constantly as you continue with your quest in Nede and around it.
Head to the Centropolis of Nede and then head out and go to the left. You’ll see Chisato for the first time and spot her running away.
Continue with your quest in Nede which will then lead you to North City where you’ll get another short cutscene of her falling over in front of the shop.
And then finally, continue the quest until you reach the Cave of Crimson Crystals. Head to the location of the sub-quest indicator to continue the cutscene showing her tripping over again. She’ll drop her ID card which you can pick up now.
Continue with your main quest here until you unlock the transportation Psynard that can take you back to Centropolis.
Enter the building again and head to the 2nd floor to find Chisato. She’s in the leftmost room. Show her the ID card and you can add her to your team!
However, keep in mind that you must have less than 8 members on your team to recruit her.
