Since the original game of Star Ocean The Second Story R, there was never a normal mean to return to Expel unless you make use of the save file. We’re going to show you how exactly you can return to Expel and then more. You’re not done with the game just yet!

How To Return To Expel

You can return to Expel after beating the last boss and if you haven’t already, make sure to save after you win and the credit.

In the original game, you can return to Expel just right before clearing the final boss. Save and then reload the post-game save file and you’re back to Nede.

But this time, Expel is unlocked again to be explored.

Back on Nede, you can now fast travel to Fun City. Travel to Fun City Arena Reception Desk and walk out into the Coliseum and go all the way to the back.

Talk to the man in green NPC who offers service to transport you back to Expel. And you’re back!

To the left of the house with the couple, now they have a kid, and you can pickpocket him. Why? Because he has the Santa’s Boots that is worth a lot of money. And right outside the village is the Psynard that you can fly to explore the planet fast.

All the way to the west is the Maze of Tribulations which is a challenging dungeon with 13 floors. Test your skill in the game with this dungeon.
