Every Agent differs from each other in Valorant. With the new agent Fade coming out in just a couple of weeks, we shall need to put on our glasses and start learning how to master it all from scratch.
Even though it is not very clear about what is for certain that is gonna be released, i have gathered all the important information that you might need to know about Fade and her Skills and Abilities. Let’s find out about them.
Skills, Abilities & Everything We Know – Valorant: New Agent Fade
What is more exciting then waiting for new episodes in Valorant?! I have seen all those teasers and am waiting for the new Agent – Fade arriving patiently. I made a list and some guesses about what can be expected from what we know so far. Let’s break down those teasers.
1.Teasers
These teasers offer only vague news for our beloved thirst for knowledge. But the clear thing that we draw from them is about Fade’s appearance or persona, and her ability to draw on the deepest fears of her enemies.

Valorant all 6 Fade Teasers
Good example is Cypher on the 1st teaser. We all know that he knows and tracks everything about people from screens and background. And look at what’s happening in this teaser? – Screens are surrounding him while he is in a state of shock.
You can see everything about the other agents here as well, how she uses their fears against them.
2.Playstyle
While it is still unknown or can’t be verified about her playstyle, the majority of the people are guessing, even Riot Games too, that Fade will be a fairly aggressive character to play as. This will be an Initiator that goes into people’s faces, destabilizes their tactics and goes on full blasting mode.
Fade will even bring tools that are able to zone out the entire enemy team before entering a site. I mean, her last nickname was the BountyHunter. That says something.
3.Abilities
As an Initiator, Fade will be setting their team for a victory. She will be leading her team and using her abilities she can create advantages by taking space with ability usage, then pushing enemies out of sites and forcing a retake.
This is a full list of her abilities:
- Seize (Q) – Fade equips and fires an Orb that will stay floating in the air for about 1.5 seconds, and then slam it somewhere to the ground. When this orb hits the ground, and damages enemies, everything inside that blast radius will be tethered, take some damage, and be deafened.
- Haunt (E) – Fade equips and fires an Orb that like before, stays in the air and slams the ground after. After this slamming, it will float up back into the air, and stay floating like an all seeing eye. If enemies get seen by this floating eye, they will be tracked and revealed. A trail of debuff is applied to them too.
- Prowler (C) – Fade sends out a creature that follows enemies trails automatically, or they can be manually controlled by moving your mouse. When they reach the enemy, he will be Nearsighted for 3 seconds. There can be only 1 creature per trail.
- Nightfall (X) – Fade sends out a wave of Dark Mist. If this mist hits the enemy they will be deafened, trailed and decayed.
Even from reading it once I can come up with some brilliant tactics about how to combine these skills into gameplay. Sounds like a lot of fun!
4.Release Date
The executive Producer Anna Donlon has said that the new Agent might not come into the game even until episode 4. So we know that Act 2 is scheduled for 26th of april, but keep in mind we might have to wait for a little while more until we get to play as Fade. Good luck staying patient until then!
