Mutation and Breeding in Ark Survival Evolved is one of the ways you can ensure to get the creature with the color and stats you want. Breeding super creatures, on the other hand, can be challenging. This guide will show you how to mutation breeding in Ark Survival Evolved.
Mutation Breeding – Ark Survival Evolved
When it comes to Mutation Breeding, the basic premise is initiating stat selection from the parents and choosing the stat you want to mutate. You also need to assign a parent as a source of mutation and do a random roll for mutation.
Apply the mutation then repeat. However, when it comes to creating super creatures or selective mutation breeding, the process is a little more challenging. The goal of the selective mutation is to get a level 449 creature with no levels in the stats except for the ones you want.
First, you want to breed a specific animal with the best stats you can find. This will have 0 Riding Rank, and 0 Order Rank with the best stats. Once you have that, invest in cloning low-level creatures, making sure they have 0 levels in the stats you are not interested in.
Now it’s time to breed, and breed, until you get a mutation in the stat you are looking for. Breed that creature to a male creature. Now use this male for the breeding process then repeat the process.
Make sure to stop before you reach level 450 or reach 253 in a specific stat that you want.
