There was a new patch released yesterday and it was supposed to change some of the stuff about Mohgwyn Palace. Even with all these changes we can still manage to make a stable Rune farm.
With this guide, i’ll show you a very sneaky way on how to gather huge amounts of Rune! Get ready to get shocked!
Elden Ring – Mohgwyn Palace Rune Farm After 1.04 Patch
If you go to this entrance of Mohgwyn Palace before the new patch, you would probably recognize the whole location. But right now, a lot has changed.
As you can see on this picture, this new boulder has fallen in the section where you were supposed to climb before. From the left staircase, then proceeding up to the Palace by going to the right. Now this road is blocked.
In order to get here in the new patch, you will need to spawn at Palace Approach Ledge Road.
You can spot a big stain of blood on the mountain on your right. On this high ridge, you are able to jump up and climb it. Summon a mount ,and just slowly and carefully jump after jump keep going up. There are a couple of small rock ledges that stick out, that’s where you need to aim your jumps.
Every once in a while, this ledger is gonna be right or left, it’s pretty easy to see them sticking out from the wall. You will even find messages written on the wall by other players.
Once you get under that little mountain terrace thingy, you will be at the hard part. Now you have to jump and make a spin while floating to get to the other side. Might be tricky, but it’s doable.
After this, proceed going up the mountain. Then jump on the other side, you will spot a big gap in the middle, just get to the other side. Now keep running to the edge of the map. Don’t worry, you will keep seeing players’ messages, so it’s almost like it’s marked for you.
Once at the end of the map, just jump off.
Now the key while falling down is – to keep holding the attack button. I don’t know why, but if you don’t keep attacking whilst falling down, this wont work.
Keep attacking while falling down, and you might not see it at the moment, but you are farming Runes this way. For me, I usually get around 130.000 Runes(it can vary).
You will see the Runes, and in that moment just teleport back to the Ledge Road again.
Keep watching your Rune counter and get ready to be surprised!
This is a pretty sneaky and very easy way to farm extreme amounts of Rune. Try to catch the rain and get as much Runes as possible, before it might get patched. Good luck and have fun!
