Remnant 2 features a variety of secret items and weapons that you can get throughout the game. The universe is extremely fleshed out and there are different steps tied to the lore that allow you to obtain these items. A very rewarding experience for those players dedicated to finding any secret that they can in the way. This includes the explosive Sparkfire Shotgun that requires certain steps to follow.
One of these steps requires players to open the Derelict Lighthouse Bottom Door, which can be quite troublesome. Not to worry, we have you sorted out. In this guide, we will show you how you can get the Sparkfire Shotgun. We will also show you how to open the Derelict Lighthouse Bottom Door so that you can access the shotgun. Let’s get into it!
How to Get Sparkfire Shotgun
The first thing that you need in the process of getting the Sparkfire Shotgun is the Lighthouse Key. However, to get this, you will first need to defeat a certain boss in the Derelict Lighthouse level. So, start off by locating the Derelict Lighthouse in the Awakened King Adventure.

Keep in mind that the Derelict Lighthouse is not guaranteed to spawn and is actually a random spawn in the Awakened King Adventure.
If you are unable to find it, this means that you will need to Reroll the Awakened King Adventure and try to locate it again.
Once you have gotten the Derelict Lighthouse, you will need to explore all around the area. Do this until you are able to find the Double Corrupted Boss, by the name of Thunderpiercer. You can identify this boss by the red glowing aura all around him.
Defeating the boss will grant you the Lighthouse Key as a reward. Now that you have this Key, you will need to head to the actual Derelict Lighthouse. Cross the dock or bridge that leads towards the small island where the Lighthouse is built.
Once you reach the island, instead of going up the stairs into the Lighthouse, take a left. This path will branch away and lead towards a hidden section underneath the Lighthouse. Drop down into this area and you will be met with a locked wooden door.
This is the part which confuses a lot of players. If you try to use the Lighthouse Key on this door, it actually won’t work. There is actually another step that you will need to fulfill before you can do so.
Start by going into your Inventory and clicking on the Lighthouse Key. When you hover your cursor above, you will get the option to Inspect it. Select the Inspect option and Rotate the key around until you are able to find a particular spot on the key.
When you locate this spot, a small circle will appear on it with the option to Interact with it. Select this option and watch as the key changes form.
Now, return to the door, and place the Lighthouse Key inside. The door will now open, and you will be able to access it!
Enter the room and there will be a forge towards the end. The Sparkfire Shotgun will be in front of it glowing purple. Pick it up and it will go into your Inventory, ready for you to equip it.
The Sparkfire Shotgun can do 100 Damage with an RPS of 1.4 and a Magazine Size of 7. You can also put up to two Modifications on it which is great. The rest of the stats are available to view in your Inventory when you hover over the Weapon. It also provides the following effect:
- Fires Incendiary Shells that apply BURNING, which deals 28.2 FIRE damage over 3 seconds.
It is an explosive weapon that you can use to rain down hell upon your enemies. Not to mention, it also just looks really cool!
