The most important a Farmer will tell you is to water your crops and farm. If you forget these basic things you are about to see a whole lot of nothing. Watering them wrong and not effective will take a lot of your time as well as your crops dying out. So let’s see the best way how to set up your Sprinklers.
Best Sprinkler Setup – Stardew Valley
Sprinkling your crops can be done in any way you want it to be really. You have to place them in optimum positions for them to catch as many plants as possible. There is no correct way. But in a lot of players’ opinions this here is the most effective way:
You can make it with a Basic Sprinkler(these are the first that you’ll use, unlocked at Farming level 2), or just rush it out until you get the Quality Sprinklers.
The Basic one is catching and watering only 4 crops – top, bottom, left, and right. They require a lot of Copper which if you spend tons of it for the Basic Sprinklers it will be a waste. Save up on them until you get to use the Quality ones.
The Quality can do up to 8 crops in a 3×3 square. Much better in every way possible than the previous ones. I recommend sticking to the Basic formation up above, and just replacing it with the Quality ones later. It will save you up on time and it will be as effective as any other formation you might set them up.
If you decide to wait on the Quality Sprinklers and just use the Watering Can until you can do so, go ahead. This is a valid strategy as well.
