Have you been trying to figure out how to get the Acrospear Sword in this latest update of King Legacy? Update 5 has given players new weapons to achieve, and this sword is definitely an impressive one. If you want to add it to your roster of weapons, here’s how to get the Acrospear Sword and Showcase in the lastest update of the game!
How To Get the Acrospear Sword & Showcase
In order to get the Acrospear Sword, you’ll have to make your way to the Third Sea. There will be pre-requisites, as well as materials so you can craft it. I’ll talk about it more in-detail below.
Getting To The Third Sea
Finding The Squid
Now, to get to the Third Sea, first head to Viridans behind the desert region on Japan Island. Then, find The Squid and talk to him. This NPC can be found by the port at the edge of Viridans.
Accept and accomplish his quest to slay the Kraken Tentacles. Doing so will grant you access to the Third Sea.
Summoning the Kraken Tentacles
To spawn this enemy, players will first need to craft the Heart of the Sea. Here are the things needed to craft this item and how to get them:
- 1x Sea King’s Blood: You can get these from the Sea King Chest or Hydra Chests in the Second Sea.
- 10x Undead’s Ooze: This a rare drop obtained from undead NPCs on Zombie Island in the First Sea or from the NPC Sally on Pirate Skull Island in the Second Sea.
- 50x Fresh Fish: You can get this from all Fishman NPCs.
- 10x Pile of Bones: These are common drops from Skull Island NPCs and the Ghost Ship in the Second Sea.
- 50x Log: This is a common drop by breaking trees anywhere.
- 15x Angelic Feather: This item can be obtained from any NPC on Sky Island in the First Sea.
Once you’ve acquired all of these items, you can head to Fiore Mansion and talk to Jack Stones NPC. You can find him in the attic through the trapdoor in the ceiling. Here, you can craft the Heart of the Sea using the materials mentioned above.
Now that you have the Heart of the Sea, go to the Mystery Altar – which is located right behind the Squid NPC in the middle of the Third Sea.
Slaying the Kraken
Now, clicking “Accept” will summon the Kraken.
You will first have to defeat all six of the Kraken’s tentacles. The game gives you six minutes and an unlimited number of lives to do this.
Each tentacle will have 75K HP, so attack them one at a time using any long-ranged weapon with high damage.
Once you beat all six tentacles, you will receive a Kraken’s Cache (which is used in crafting Saber v2) and a new title. Then, just talk to the Squid NPC again in Viridan’s Port to get full access to the Third Sea.
Afterwards, make sure you equip the Acroscyth and head to the Third Sea. If you don’t have the Acrosyth, here’s how to get it.
Getting the Acroscythe
Getting the Acroscythe is as simple as killing a sea beast in the New World, or the Sea King in the Second Sea. The drop rate for this weapon is as follows:
- Bronze Chest: 0.072%
- Silver Chest: 1%
- Golden Chest: 5%
Crafting The Acrospear Sword
Get to the Third Sea and move straight forward from the spawn point. Make sure you have a mobility item for flying, so you can quickly get to the area indicated here:
Look for this island with this particular ledge (pictured below).
It will be located right behind the castle. Equip your Acroscythe and use the skill Aerial Inferno to bust open the side of the wall and uncover a hidden NPC.
Talk to him and go through the dialogue. In the end, you will be asked to either accept or decline “Acro’s Blessing”.
Accept the blessing to open a crafting menu. Here, you’ll be able to craft the Acrospear Sword.
You will need the following materials to craft this weapon:
- 9x Eye of Acro
- 1x Hydro’s Tail
The Hydro’s Tail is a rare drop found in Hydra Chests in the Second Sea, while the Eye of Acro is a craftable item.
To craft the Eye of Acro you will need:
- 10x Sea King’s Blood – Can be found in the Sea King Chest or Hydra Chest in the Second Sea.
- 6x Aqua Gem – Can be obtained from the Tidalgem Smith NPC in the Third Sea
- 50 Sea Artifacts
Showcase
The Acrospear Sword has two main skills:
- Acrostrike
- a charge attack that deals 6 hits with a life leech. Holding the charge pulls enemies close. Upon release, the player dashes forward and a spear drops from the ground onto the enemy.
- This attack heals players twice with Life Leech.
- Acrovengeful
- Another charging attack that pulls enemies closer. Drops three spears onto the enemy to deal a total of 7 hits.
- This attack only heals once with Life Leech.
