In Anime World Tower Defense (AWTD), there is a wide range of towers that you can collect, and they are all inspired by characters from widely known anime and manga franchises.
With that said, you’re going to need a lot of resources in order to upgrade all of these towers to max level and increase their effectiveness. In this guide, we’ll show you one of the teams that you can use in the Metal Rush game mode, which will help you farm up the gold you need to upgrade stuff!
Best Metal Rush Team Guide
Metal Rush is essentially the best way to farm gold in the game, but you may be struggling to figure out how to get into it, especially as a new player.
One fairly accessible team that you can try out for this game mode will have the following towers:
- King of Knights (set this as leader)
- Ratio Sorcerer
- Wami
- Virtual Swordgirl
- Any tower you have that can stun or paralyze
- Shining Star Idol
Again, don’t forget to place King of Knights at the first slot of your team, as this will activate the Leader Skill that will give your entire team a huge attack bonus.
The Strategy
First of all, this setup will let you play through Metal Rush on Insane difficulty, which will drastically increase how much gold and EXP you get.
At the start of the game, put your Ratio Sorcerers right in front of where the enemies will spawn. In addition to that, plop down your Shining Star Idol nearby.
From here, simply put down the rest of your towers along the pathway just ahead, as long as they are within range of the Shining Star Idol so that they can receive buffs.
Don’t forget to upgrade all of them over time so you can maximize how many waves you can complete before getting overrun.
This is pretty much all you need to do. By the end of it, you should be able to earn around 500-600k gold per run with this build with relatively little effort.
And that is one of the best teams you can use to farm Metal Rush in Anime World Tower Defense. There are other viable options you can try out, but this setup is fairly easy to get, and it will greatly help you farm as much gold as you need!
